Also, how the refs decide to call the game tomorrow will mean a lot. Louisville playing incredibly aggressive recently. Had "58" deflections today vs. Nova. That's incredible.. if the refs call it tight, we can get to the line early and get some free points. Just something to keep an eye on.

ND will need to force live turnovers and get easy shots. Louisville's D is easily the best in the nation, and they are hotter than ever. Louisville's D thrives on forcing turnovers, so Atkins and Grant need to take care of the ball better than they have all year.

If Sherman and patty can stay hot and if Cooley can get it going were a very dangerous team

Don't like our chances against Louisville. Hopefully the two wins are enough to get us out of that 7/8 seed range so we don't catch a #1 or #2 in the Ro32... if we actually win our first game.

Ya were almost guaranteed a 6 seed at this point and we play louisville which is A 1 seed so that won't hurt our stock that much

I think that win locked us into a 6th seed at worst... probably 5 seed. Big resume win on a neutral court.

ND has made it to 4 straight BE semifinals. Still have never been to the finals though. I think we have a great chance tonight with Cam back

Agreed. Louisville smacked us around last week and knocked us out of the last two Big East tourneys. It has to be payback time.

Here's to hoping.
If I had to place real money, I'd go with Louisville.

But anything is possible. We've beat these guys once and at Louisville we were definitely not helped from the refs.

Pat and Tom will need to stay hot. Garrick will need another solid game.
Jack will need to play at 100% while he's on the court. And Cameron needs to hit some shots.

This game is gonna be tough, but ND will need to be on their A game. Louisville will be more athletic for sure, so we need to out execute.

Go Irish!

With two more wins this team will have won as many games as any Mike Brey team. They're tied for #2 with 25 wins. It really makes me hate those losses to St. John's and Saint Joseph's. 30 wins would've been within reach; they'd need to win the Big East and make the Sweet Sixteen to hit thirty now.

On this topic, does anyone else think the officiating in the Big East is the worst in the country? While I was watching the Nova / UL game I kept flipping back to, I believe, BC and FSU.

It was night and day. I'd watch a player in the Nova/UL game get dang near decapitated, flip the channel, and watch the ACC officials call a handcheck (it was an actual foul as well).

Yea, the BE is physical, but it's almost comical at times.

I like a physical game, but it appears that the Big Ten and Big East are just ignoring contact sometimes haha

It is a significantly better than leagues where the slightest contact is a foul though. That is pretty much unwatchable.

I think if we beat Louisville (giving us another top win on a neutral court) we're lock for at least a 5 seed at worst. If we lose I think we're still a 6 seed but I guess I could see us dropping to 7 under unfortunate circumstances.

No way ND is any worse than a 6 seed, even with a loss to Louisville. If they can stay within single digits tonight, I believe they deserve a 5 seed. Either way, they better be a 6!

Sherman is stepping up big at the right time and patty is staying hot at the right time

Getting destroyed on the boards yet again. But we are getting absolutely nothing from the officials. Some really ridiculous calls/no-calls.
