Not much in the 247 article for McDowell, seems like Michigan really emphasized academics and family feel for the prospects this weekend

Brady Hoke always pitches the family feel. Recruits like the guy.

makes sense they pitched the same thing to hood...makes it hard for us to pitch a family feel with no one on campus...just the luck of the draw

hoke does seem like a very likable dude...i've heard him talk at clinics 3 times and he's got a pretty likable personality...doesn't surprise me

Wiltfong said he believes ND is still firmly in the race with Michigan and still targeting a visit this spring. The African American grad rate is a big deal for him and his father

Not sure if it's how we closed recruiting last year or the fact that Wiltfong and company have been positive on him for awhile but I feel really good about Malik. Maybe it's misguided but still do

I asked this question in another thread but didn't see an answer where it was mentioned Wiltfong thought ND ended up with Hood/Starks at RB. Anyone have a good feeling for how accurate Wiltfong has been in general with his predictions/feelings?

I thought I remember reading it was in the low 70%s...WHISKEY!?!?!?!!!!

I'd be very surprised. If true that is really good for us. I expected it to be in the 90s, and I wa going to make the point that its probably not a significant enough difference to help us in this one.

Michigan's African-American football GSR is 59%. That's pathetic for an institution that pretends to moral superiority and academic excellence.

And that's a big reason why their relative degree value sucks. Not even top 20 among BCS schools for African-American football players.

Not much there, he wants to go to Michigan today, he likes the way they practice has been there before, coaches talk to his Mom on face book, but it isn't set in stone. Would like to go to O$U also. Recently got offers from U$C and FSU, hasn't been offered by Alabama but thinks he will be soon, still wide open hasn't trimmed list will decide during senior season, enjoying process but it is crazy.
