Okay so no idea if there is any interest in ND or ND has any interest (Rivals profile says we do) but saw this article on TBB

Holey just started playing football this year and goes to the same school as Ishaq, recently his coach sent out his Hudl to a couple coaches and got the offers listed above

EDIT: there's a article on II about him if anyone with access would like to share...

Either him or Enoch please! I want one of them at least to go with Hayes and at least 2 more D-linemen.

Man, if this kid can take coaching, watch out. He is a physically gifted kid, with a high ceiling. Love his ability to track down ball carriers in space and his motor is strong. If he can learn how to hand fight and become violent in doing so, he could be a force at the next level.

Anyone know what his competition is typically like? NY isn't exactly an elite hotbed or anything.

247 does give him :s::s::s::s: 90 rating.

Hmm must have ranked him after I made the profile. He's second in NY by 247 too, Jay Hayes is #1

So he went from unheard of player to 4star prospect with BCS offers in a week. Not bad

Nowhere near Easley in pure explosive power/first step combo. That said he's got a great frame - could play nose after a couple years with Longo.

If this kid has the head and heart he will be truly devastating!

I just started really following recruiting in the last couple of years, but has it always been this common for teams to dip back into high schools where current players are from. Holley plays at Ishaq's high school, and we appear to have set up / be setting up some strong pipelines at places like Don Bosco, American Heritage, Woodberry Forest, and Cretin Derham.

I get the concept of a pipeline, just curious if Notre Dame has always had these strong of pipelines.

I feel like any kid that comes out of Woodberry Forest or Cretin Derham is NDs to lose.

Yes.

We are going after a lot of DT, NG guys.

Something that I believe we will have to do at least every other year to keep that 3-4 running. Love the plethora that are popping up this year that have got high upside. I can only imagine what this DL class is going to look like, but WOW studs are all over our board.

obviously the staff has decided that this is a position of need and we're going after some pretty elite studs...would love to land 2 of holley, frazier, and clark

The way I understood TV is that we r going after one true NG type with the other two being DE. Think Hayes and McDowell. With one of those you mentioned. Add A.williams at CAT/OLB and it gets simply ridiculous

Per 247 it was amazing for him to get an offer from ND. Diaco actually was interested in him when he came around before his highlight film got out and Holley feels they are building a good relationship

Holley doesn't know Ishaq personally since he just transferred to Lincoln but knows Ishaq's dad gets up to SB often and may visit with him (Ogundeko did the same)

He's visited a couple of the regional schools (recently PSU) and would like to visit further away schools like ND and the Big Three in Florida
