Yeah.

I liked it. I don't think I liked the end much though-- Rick talking to the ghost of Lori...or whatever that was.

That was weird. Rick is losing it. But I didn't like it very much either. And the baby thing was weird too.

Very weird, but I actually enjoyed it.

It's a good way to show Rick losing his mind.

I wonder if Tyrese and his crew will end up coming back to the prison.

Interesting to see how the story is keeping pace with the graphic novels. Rick "loses it" after returning to the prison from Woodberry in the novels, too.

I'm still convinced the Governor let Merle and Darryl go in the hopes that Merle would help him take the prison as an inside man.

This show needs to pick it up imo. Not as good as the first 2.

This.

Honestly this season has had shades of a bad ABC drama. The constant cliffhangers and oddly stale plot progression are tiresome; killing off minor characters isn't drama.

I have no doubts. Chad Coleman is too prominent of an actor for him to not be a main character. I would bet any amount of money that the group reasons with Rick and he comes back and helps lead them. Either that, or he opens up a boxing academy for disadvantaged youth who may want to avoid the street life.

Buster glad we are on the same page. Honestly we are what 6 episodes deep in season 3? It's been boring as hell.

I won't give up on it just knowing how good the first two were.

Remember the kid and his father in the first couple episodes? Anybody else still feel like they might play a role in this show?

That was episode nine of sixteen. It's seems to me that they are milking sixteen episodes out of a twelve-episode budget and building up for an absolutely crazy battle at the end. But that's what sucks about network TV.

I'm still pretty confident in the show, but I hope it doesn't go down the Weeds path and jump the shark. It's too good for that.

Also, it's aggravating as hell when people are obsessed with The Walking Dead and don't have a clue what Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones are. Both of those shows blows TWD out of the water.

Game of Thrones is next on my list with the Wire! Which one you like better?

The Wire is the best show ever made. But Game of Thrones is far more entertaining though if that makes sense. They're amazing for different reasons.

The Wire is next on my list. I'm on the 4th book of Game of Thrones and have seen the first season.

Tyrese will definitely be a prominent character. He is a major guy in the comic

Anyone know what happened to that guy that Rick was buddies with in FIRST episode (the black dude and his daughter)? I thought that Tyrese was that guy..

And no Darrell, no Irishpat watching. I bet in a twist he ends up killing Merle

You guys also need to watch Shameless and Boardwalk Empire.

Threee best shows on TV right now. Oh, and of course Archer and Workaholics for the comedy element.

I have a love-hate relationship with this show. I hated the 2nd season but loved the 3rd. I just think the main problem with this show are the characters. Besides Daryl, no one is really that interesting. The plot is what carries it.

The black guy and his son never pop up again, but that's because there can only be one black man in the group. Every time a new black guy appears, the older one dies. It's the circle of liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiife.

Exactly. If killing zombies wasn't so fun to watch, I'd have checked out after the first season.

And kill Carl. He's annoying as hell and looks too young to be "tough".

FTFY. Morgan and Duane Jones. Rick meets up with them again in the novels, but much later in the plot arc. Don't expect to see them again soon.

Ahhhh!! Thanks. Never could figure that out. It seemed like they just left that hanging.

I need to read the novels.

I have been rather disappointed with Shameless this season too hahah but I didn't catch last night's episode yet. Boardwalk Empire really took it up a notch this last season and season 4 should be incredible.

The actor that plays the dad has conifrmed a return this season... at least that is what the actor stated.

The show has a lot of problems but alas, it still has zombies.

I think the main problem is that the show stretches itself out trying to market itself to too broad an audience.

For instance there is a lot of drama to reel in the ladies, etc.

Too many spoilers lol

Even if they are just spoilers from the comics, maybe change the color of the font to white to hide it. Make people highlight it to see it.

William H Macy needs to win many, many awards for playing Frank Gallagher.

Just Golden.

For instance there is a lot of drama to reel in the ladies, etc.

The premise sets up several types of post-apocalyptic tension: (1) tribe v. world/ zombies; (2) intra-tribe conflicts; and (3) inter-tribe conflicts.

Each season has moved onto the next type of conflict. My wife, for instance, liked season 2 the best because of the love triangle between Rick, Shane and Lori. Those sorts of intra-tribal politics were hugely significant in primitive human societies, and they remain compelling due to evolutionary psychology.

In other words, I don't think the producers are stretching to broaden the appeal. The strength of the show's premise is that it can convincingly create tension in a lot of different ways.
