I hope to finish with EV and Fitts. But would also love Hollins.

Do you guys think its first come first served for Prevot/Hollins/Fitts or do you think if the staff has them prioritized like 1) Fitts 2) Hollins 3) Prevot for example, and Hollins says he wants to commit, that the staff would then go to Fitts and say theres limited spots and we have a prospect ready to commit, but we want that spot to be yours, would you commit now? Because otherwise we will give it to the other prospect.

I think we are mostly to end up with EV and Hollins

Id love to add Smythe to the class. But it will be BKs call on this if he decided to try to verbal. The only person that would have a spot is Vanderdoes. The staff has some different decisions to go over as far as the ending of this class as well as making sure they are in good shape for 2014.

Several sites have stated if we took Smythe we would have 2 more spots 'if they were the right two'. Have to assume EV, Fitts, Hollins, and Prevot all fit that mold. We'll see if Isaac would as well.

I cannot for the life of me, understand how he would not...?

I mean with GB and TF appearing less than absolutely stable, you take him.

Plus, his upside as an athlete at other positions is unreal.

I still think he'll play RB.

After hearing that the staff thinks Hollins can play either ILB or OLB, he is my top remaining want after Vanderdoes. (I've never really liked the idea of Randolph or Jaylon at ILB, just in terms of the physical profile ... both have that length that you like in an OLB. Hollins fits the ILB physical profile but also has the pass-rushing ability to be a Shembo-like OLB.)

I'd be thrilled if we finished with Vanderdoes and Hollins. We blew Hollins away on the visit this weekend, and I would love it if if he committed.

Regarding the other guys: depends on who else we get. I'm looking for one DL and one "big skill." I don't want both EV and Fitts, or more than one of Hollins, Prevot and Isaac; looking for one from each group, with EV and Hollins being the preferred outcome.

Would we take Fitts AND Hollins/Prevot/Isaac though? EV is a "take no matter what" player, but it may be that the situation is as simple as:
take EV if he wants in; and take whoever is the first to commit of the remaining four. We'll see.

Good question ... it sounds like we are not saving a spot for him. Compliance must not be optimistic.

Do you think that even if Hollins or Fitts wanted to commit, the staff would want to wait to see what next wekend brings? It's difficult here in Ireland to catch the swing of moods over recruiting. Only a couple of weeks ago everybody was all over Prevot but he goes to look at A&M and he's bottom of evertbodies list. Is this 'cos we're pissed off with him or have the staff really cooled? At the same time, when Smythe's name first came up nobody seemed that interested but now he is seen as really important.

I think they take the next 2 who want to sign from Prevot, Hollins, Fitts,,,,, and then if EV waits till NSD to communicate, they will wait, and take him (creating a decision for 5th years if there are no meds/transfers).
