Urban Meyer and Stoops were already mentioned 7 pages ago. Our fanbase cracks me up sometimes.
This thread is hotter than Musburger for McKaren's Auburn girlfriend.
Can anyone confirm what BK makes currently?

Tyler James @TJamesNDI
I want to thank BK for a hell of a season. However, even with the possibility of losing a stellar class, and maybe another rebuilding period, he should move on. Save all the talk about this is how it's done to get a raise, blah blah blah. He was going to get a raise and be taken very well care of. Now he has used our beloved ND, and I don't like. Sure I'm going to enjoy the seasons where will continue to flirt with NCs with him here, but there will always be a bitter feeling with me. What, every couple of years we have to go through this crap with BK?
Is he a ND guy or what? Is ND the best job "high school, college, and pro" or what? This was not necessary, in my opinion. I agree we was severely underpaid, but all he had to do was say "look at what we just did, and look at what we have coming", end of negotiation.
This is not a melt down, just an extreme disappointment.
Notre Dame Football@uhnd
One of best Philly beat writers - RT @RoobCSN I'll be absolutely shocked if Brian Kelly doesn't return to Notre Dame.
money.
follow the money.
jack slow plays a kelly extension/raise over last month (wants to see how things go in the natty).
natty is a disaster.
kelly who had expected something to get done and be done BEFORE the natty is pissed thinking perhaps the woodsheeding probably cost him millions.
kelly and his peeps put this thing in motion.
ball is in swarbricks court now---and he has the pressure of all of a pissed off post natty nd nation waiting
methinks jack misplayed this one. and ND will pay. which truth be told we have money to BURN.
pay the man and lets get back to the return to glory.
hope u noticed the italics

I doubt he leaves after his *** got handed to him at the national championship game. If I'm him I'd be like a man possess to redeem my name and kick Nick Saban's butt next year. Plus he's got a pretty good incoming recruiting class to help him do that. Also why would the Eagles hire someone who has no NFL experience. This hire just doesn't make sense for both parties to me.

It would really hurt me to see Brian Kelly leave and I know as a player it would hurt @JaeeSmiff9ENT @Will_Fuller7 and @AlexAnzalone_24 more

You could argue this is a classic power play to use NFL interest – real or rumored – into a lucrative contract extension. Notre Dame is the king of those sucker jobs, having once handed Charlie Weis a ten-year deal just because gossip spread that an NFL team might want to talk to him at the end of the season.
The thing is Kelly was already going to get paid. He was already in the perfect position. He restored Notre Dame, bringing joy to one of the wealthiest alumni bases in major college football.
He'd earned his raise.
No, the interest in the NFL is real. It's always been real, the ultimate spot for an upwardly mobile coach.
Brian Kelly has always won. Brian Kelly has always climbed.
In a nervous South Bend, with no obvious big-name, proven successor (defensive coordinator Bob Diaco?) standing by, everyone waits to see if the jump comes sooner, far sooner, than they ever imagined.
Yahoo!'s Dan Wetzel just published an article about Kelly's possible departure:
