If I don't make it on here you all know why.

Back on for a few minutes because I don't want to hear the same ol stuff on the tube. I will be traveling tomorrow and won't be able to share the joy, but I'll be thinking about you.

I am so PUMPED!

They said we couldn't win at Michigan State.
They said we couldn't contain Michigan.
They said we couldn't hang with Miami's speed.
They said we'd be overrun by Stanford's power.
They said there's zero chance we'd win at Norman... ZERO.
They said we didn't deserve to beat Pitt.
They said we couldn't stop USC's skill.
They say we'd finish no better than 6th in the SEC.
They say we don't belong on the same field as Alabama.

I say We'll See.
We'll see who's hungrier.
We'll see who prepared harder.
We'll see WHO WANTS IT MORE.
We'll see what happens when a collective group of young men come together like brothers to achieve a common goal in the face of adversity and nationwide DISRESPECT.

I'm not sure it's humanly possible to want it more than I do.
Forget winning it for the Gipper... WIN IT FOR YOURSELVES!
You have the chances to become legend and people like me will talk about you fondly for a lifetime.

WE WILL SEE

GO IRISH!!!

My wife is worried that I may have heart palpitations rise up tonight.

I told her that the only thing that will rise tonight will be Notre Dame's glory... and a woolybug around midnight....

It just dawned on me.... I'm 30 years old. I was 6 years old when we won the title in '88. I don't really remember it, although I know that I watched it. I grew up in a Notre Dame family, so I was born a fan, but no one remembers everything vividly from when they were 6. My first solid memories of good Notre Dame teams were the early 90's.

I have been literally waiting for this day since my first formatable memory that I can recall. Today could end up being one of the finest days of my entire life.

Solid.

Hate the names on the backs of the jerseys - but nothing different from any other bowl game. Just prefer our ND tradition.

Same except I'm 22 and wasn't born yet. I've been waiting to see us play in this game since I developed the ability to formulate long-term wants.
