I have been on the damn toilet all morning it feels like...the people at work keep asking me if I'm ok...Feel like saying, "B*tch, I'm playing (rooting) for a National Championship tonight...you wouldn't understand!" Couple co-workers are huge Trojan fans and another that's a Michigan fan...All the students I tutor have been saying we're going to get rolled...Today, I might get fired telling one of these kids off...

I have been sick for a few days so my stomach is rolling from that, and from the game intensity. Someone help.. hah.

My emotions are right at the surface it seems. I watched some of the pump up videos and some other stuff on Youtube at lunch and got all choked up again. Especially Kelly's half time speech during the MSU game. I am so ready. Fully prepared to bawl like a baby when the Irish win tonight. Listening to "Here Come the Irish" over and over.

SO PUMPED!!! It is going to be intense tonight! Let's Go IRISH!!!

Taking off work at 4:30, hope to have a solid buzz by 5:15pm. I think that its the only way to calm my nerves right now.

All I heard at school today was Roll Tide.

Then I proceeded to bet $100 bucks on the game.

No Points

Yes my heart rate is through the roof.

Having a game not on a Saturday feels weird. This game won't really feel like a ND football game. It'll feel more like watching the Super Bowl or something.

Yea I hate these bandwagon Bama fans that took no interest in the Tide before Nick Saban arrived.

I can't stand the annoying life long bama crazies but I do respect them. You be surprised how many people I run into in Illinios that for some reason like Bama. The truth is they just like winners and they will change their mind at the drop of a hat. Any person not from Alabama or an alum at Alabama that says "roll tide" makes me want to just punch them in the mouth.

I've got a mixed bag of SEC nuts at the office. Some that hate Bama and want the Irish to be a spoiler, others are SEC elitist that think we have no chance. The thought of bragging tomorrow is delicious.

From the end of the USC game until about Christmas, it was all I could think about. Then I kind of kept busy and tried to keep it out of my mind (also helps that everything that could have possibly been said about the game was said pre-Christmas, and the Bama trolls haven't been around as much the last week or two).

Over the weekend and especially this morning at work, it kind of felt surreal. "Is this really happening?" But now it's starting to set in. Getting restless. Don't really want to eat dinner. Definitely not drinking (I rarely drink for ND games... too wrapped up in the game to do anything else). Trying to play Football Manager and keep occupied. Kickoff can't come soon enough.

Then I proceeded to bet $100 bucks on the game.

No Points
Ha, I did the exact same thing after the USC game. Except I got 10 points.

I agree with you 100%. I think it was more so they all know I'm a diehard ND fan more than anything, but a few of the kids are bandwagon Bama fans, which isn't rare.

My pro-Irish boss is actually letting us leave 2 hours early today. He said we all need time to make food and beer runs so we aren't nervous before the game!

I woke feeling ill... came to work feeling ill... then I realized it was due to the game, I told myself not to worry, ND is getting blown out anyway, don't bother...

now I'm depressed, but I have no stomach issues...

need to find another hobby.

Man--glad I'm not the only one not sleeping, upset stomach and rolled from work early. Feels like before I try a big case--nervous and pumped at the same time (toss in a good measure of staring at the ceiling the night before). Just went to the gym to burn it off, now I'm just flat pumped and ready to rock!!

LET'S GO IRISH!!!!!!

I have class right up until the game starts. That class will be the slowest class I have ever been in. I just want the first drives from both the offense and defense to happen, then I'll settle down.
