I know Corey's a big dude, but he looks tiny next to his dad...as anybody would I suppose

The real question is whether Farrell is standing on a step stool?

That is a kid with his head screwed on right. I can't help being excited when I think about how he is going to improve with the coaching he is going to get at Notre Dame. There is no doubt in my mind that he is going to be a leader and a big contributer, he has tremendous natural gifts and he will work his tail off.

And the Admiral seems like a near perfect father.

His father was about the same height as him at the same age... Just saying.

We don't want him at taller than 6'8" probably. Taller than that makes playing with proper knee-flexure [rather than too much "instinctive" waist-bending or straight-up posture] less likely to occur, and that means big risks to knee injuries when the linebacker or safety takes you out at the knees in the middle of the field. I believe that there is a very fundamental reason why we don't see football players over 6'9" at all, or if so they don't last long. Someone said on here that Shaq O'Neil would make a great tight end --- maybe for three games before hospitalization and extensive knee surgeries set in.

Stay in the 6'6" to 6'8" range, please, Corey ... unless we just want to give Mike Brey another BBall player.

The Rivals guys are saying that Corey has stood out and looked impressive at WR early, specifically with several nice grabs.

not out of the question at all that he grows into a TE, which many on here as said in the past.

This guy is a great guy.

Every time, he seems to be composed and mature.

This fall I called out to Corey at the Pitt game, he saw the kids and me and smiled ear to ear. I went up to his father, and told him what a great son he had. Doesn't seem like the apple fell far from the tree.

It's not even like our commits are just performing really well today, they're the best ones on the field!

Report up from Yesterday said he was the top performer on offense on the west and most surprising. Said that he's the lowest rated player in ND's class but that might not be the case after this week.

I'll take this all day every day. The Admiral was quite the gentleman and quite the ballplayer.

Yes, he is kind . . .

Except when he is on the field. Compartmentalization.
