I would like to think that a Notre Dame win on January 7th, 2013 would end this type of stuff but it won't.

Get ready on Jan 8th to hear "It was a down year for college football".

Go ahead and light me up, but I like to learn from whomever...and though I agree this was not a great segment, I did hear for the first time an interesting thing to watch as the game unfolds:

Our offense (especially Golson it seemed) got so much better in the last 5 games. She mentions the layoff might cause some loss-of-effect in that area.

Given the reliance on timing for any offense, she might have a point. Will be interesting to see in our first few drives if we come out like we did for OK , or like we did for Pitt.

He did get better but considering he had never played in a college game before Navy in Dublin it's natural to achieve development as the season progresses. UA has the obvious edge with the veteran McCarron over the rookie Golson. What Beauty and The Thief should have pointed out was that in the 6 weeks before the Bowl McCarron would not get any better as he's at his plateau but Golson would continue the strides he had made over the last 5 weeks of the season.

Rather than a being rusty from a layoff, I expect Golson and Brown to be in better sync on the long balls. I'd also expect Golson and Daniels (who had a layoff after a productive early part of the season) to have their timing down and their reads on the same page. A viable threat from Brown and Daniels bodes well for Eifert and Riddick to be open as well as for the running game.

UA's defense is talented but they can't cover everybody. If they do ... who's covering Golson?

Playing the NCG 6 weeks after the SEC CG rather than the following week should help ND more than it does UA.

I've actually met him before. Got into an argument with started to push each other, but got separated. Total Dbag.

I'm going to Rep you for past performance. Wish you had taken him behind the woodshed and I don't generally advocate for violence. When 1 douche wants to insult another, it calls it a Gottlieb.

I was going to go into a long diatribe, pointing out how ridiculous their "points" were, but you guys already know everything I was going to write, so I'll just leave it at:

"Shut your ignorant pie-holes, you pair of bimbos!"

They mention that USC failed to get a TD because they called a time out. I am the only one 100% sure that it was a delay of game and thus they had to call the time out? Its not like Kiffin called a time out just for the sake of calling a time out.

BGIF:

Nice response...from your lips to God's ears.

I agree that seems like the stronger possibility...especially given how well he responded to learning moments earlier this year, and the incredible job the coaching staff have done developing him and the whole team.

So let me recap so others don't waste their time. Marginally attractive blonde says "They are lucky".

Doofus says: "SEC schedules are a gauntlet, ND has only two good wins"

The end. Seriously.

I fixed it for you.

When did you guys lower your standards?

It must be because I finished my last final a week ago. Been working full 8 hour days since school let out. I've also been helping my family and have not been out much. Most of the women the office I work at are 50+. During the middle of the day some my judgement can be impared I guess. Lots of people seem hot when I look at thing relatively.

I have never been so unattracted to a good-looking blonde.....it's a sad day indeed.

And also, notice how they skimmed right over Bama's strenght of schedule! As if LSU's 2 losses matter at all come January 7th ....they wont be there. It's the SEC, though, so Bama gets credit for the CRAZY tough SEC games against Florida ATL, Auburn, Missouri, Western KY, WCU.....

You all know it, I know it, embrace the hate and get ready to talk a WHOLE LOTTA SMACK January 8th!!! I know I will.

Anyone notice that the last time someone posted a video of these two that everyone talked about how much more knowledgeable she was AND how she owned Dougie?

Maybe the producers got on her for that and so she acquiesced in order to save her job, instead of actually insulting Dougie, beccause everyone knows he is a know-nothing idiot when it comes to ND, particularly about ND football.

Amazing how she goes from hot and intelligent in one thread and becomes marginally attractive in the next one simply because she likely just decided to save her job and not make the "star" of that show look like the total ***-clown he truly is.

And she is far from marginally attractive...unless your margin for error is like Derek Jeter's in the GF department.

Try clicking the "straight up" button. The bias becomes much clearer than the "against the spread" picks...

I have, but it's a far cry from a CBS bias. There was also a Bowl preview show on the CBS Sports Network...I don't remember all of the panelists but 3 out of 4 picked Notre Dame to win. I do remember one of them was Ron Zook, and he also picked Notre Dame to beat Bama.

They had to make her look ugly so people would not notice what Gottlieb looked like.

And she is obviously smarter than Dougie boy. HS valedictorian, college hoops star and graduated (and NOT a thief!) and Miss Teen USA at age 17.

Allie LaForce - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The girl is definitely on her way up in the world so they had to make her look bad to make Dougie look "better", which is impossible, obviously.

What has Gottlieb ever done?

Nothing.

Not ND related but Doug Gottlieb related:

In the wake of Jim Boeheim's 900th win, Gottlieb said: "He's a good, not great coach."

Boeheim's response:

"Hey that's good. I'm happy. (laughs) There is nothing wrong with being good. I don't think he knows what he is talking about. I think he has an agenda when he talks about things and his agenda has always been anti-Syracuse and an anti-Jim Boeheim agenda, really, for whatever reason. That's fine. With him, he might not consider anybody great. I don't know what he thinks. But being a good coach is pretty good. I don't know what standard...if he has a hundred great coaches and I'm just good, then I might be a little upset. If he has five or six great coaches then me, then I'm not too upset with that."

It is so difficult to find people that simply report the sports news anymore. I don't care about your opinions Dougie boy, I care about stats and facts.

Doug is a Colin Cowherd wanna be. And one of him is too much.
