Don't care where we're ranked and i'm more than happy with our OL and LB recruits....but with GLARING issues in the secondary, Id like to see more guys jumping on board back there as well.

Patience. We're seriously in the game on three of the six best corners still on the board, plus the two committed already. We'll land one or two more, I'd think.

You also saw Navy's B team WR's run past our secondary.....so......

If you're talking about Keivare having to hunt down the carrier that passed him it was because he tripped.. They were playing 10 yards off the man to protect the long ball.. Judgements will be justified moreso this weekend.

We won't know anything about our secondary until after this weekend. Even then, we really won't know definitively how good they are until after the BYU game.

The Navy game certainly can't be used as any kind of indicator of where they're at and how they'll play this season.

The only thing I am worried about is NT. After Nix leaves, we don't have anyone on the roster his size and athleticism to play that position. Our backup is currenlty listed at 290, 36 pounds lighter. Our two DT recruits this year are also light.

I worry about the loss of Nix more next year than Teo this year, because at least we have several good young LB to replace Teo.

ND will be fine. Its nice to have a Nix, but the type of scheme ND runs a gap filler is more than enough. Nix is def adding the next level but Ian Williams/Cwynar/ had more than enough success there

From the New Rivals 100:
As of now 5 in the top 100.
Jaylon Smith 3rd
Alex Anzalone 50th
Steve Elmer 56th
John Montelus 65th
Cole Luke 95th

Other Notables (who could be added to the class):
Greg Bryant (16th)
Max Redfield (24th)
Eddie Vanderdoes (32nd)
Al-Quadin Muhammed (97th)

With those 4 (though getting all four is very unlikely) we would have 9 in the top 100.

As of now USC has the most with 10. Alabama has 8. Michigan has 5 as well.

Those 4 would also give us a total of 3 5-stars and 2 more very high 4-stars, which would almost certainly push us to the #1 recruiting class in the country. Nearly impossible for us to pull all 4 of these guys, but one can dream, right?
