I see a few threads floating out there about hotels and things like that so I think it would be a good idea to have one big thread where we can discuss all things MIAMI.

I purchased a ticket to the game last week so now all that is left for me is to figure out how I'm getting there and where I'm staying.

Who else is going???

I will be there. Heading to Marco Island for a few days. I use to live there. Staying in Doral for the game.

I'm in your boat: have tickets, need to book flight and hotel.

Hard part is done IMO (getting tix).

*Guys who have hotel mention where you are staying to give us an idea of where to book!

My friends and I are discussing driving an RV down from Columbus. Could sleep in it so it avoids both hotel and flight costs. Does that sound like a reasonable option? 6 people, 20 hours each way

You could "camp" in a walmart parking lot. That would be the safest bet if staying in an rv, although not the classiest, but who gives a crap.

Yeah that would be the plan. Then get a parking pass on Gameday. GOOD PROBLEMS TO HAVE!!

I'll be in Miami, but I don't have a ticket. $500 for anyone who can get me a single ticket.

Yeah, I know they are crazy expensive online. Can't afford those prices on a college budget. I'm driving down to Miami for the game whether or not I'll be watching in the stadium is another story.

I'm considering flying down to Miami and going to tailgating parties and then watching the game with any group of Irish fans I can. Tickets, sadly, are a little too rich for my blood at the moment.

Already booked my flights BEFORE last nights game. Entire family is going. We're incredibly skeptical on our ability to actually get tickets... but we're going to try our luck through ND.

If not, time to set myself back a couple paychecks.

I'll be in Fort Myers for Christmas break already so I'm hoping to get tickets through the school because of our family's season ticket holder status. How exactly does that work?

My family has the flights and hotel rooms booked. Now it comes down to if we get tickets from the season ticket holder lottery. We didn't get them for Dublin so maybe that increases our odds for the NCG? Either way we'll find a way in to the stadium.

I was told that the worst seats in the house are going for $1400. How much do you guys think it would take to get a decent ticket to this game?

3k is my guess. I heard the "nosebleeds" are better than lower level sideline seats since the stadium was designed by a 4 year old.

*When I went to Auburn-Oregon, "good seats" were going for 2,000-3,000, and this game obviously will draw more interest than that one did.

Thanks homie. That pretty much confirms my suspicions. I think I am going to spend my money flying back into South Bend and renting a projector setep and crap tons of food. I'll celebrate the Natty with friends and family on the front steps of South Bend.

I want to go, but $5k is too rich for my blood.

I actually like watching games on TV rather than in person, but no, you can't have my ticket!
