Girl football player is fast and fun to watch! - YouTube

Male or Female, I dont care, this 9 year old knows how to play football. My jaw dropped watching her highlights. The youngster looks like a mini Denard when she runs, she can take a hard hit, and she can tackle! Her parents should be very proud.

The motion of her legs looks like an old time Keystone Cops movie. She doesn't have the stride of the others but seems to take about twice as many steps as the other.

Elusive, agile but the most amazing part was dragging the much taller kid along the ground ... until I saw the part where she leaves 4 tacklers in a pile on the ground while she breaks free to score.

She also can give and take a hit. She had the right angle of pursuit on those TFLs.

She absorbs contact and shruggs off tackles like a young Ricky Williams.

She runs straight into trafiic and somehow pops out the otherside on so many of those.

And on the direct snaps, she is through the hole before the linebackers know the ball was even snapped.

She's a natural runner.

At that age it's more about mentality than anything else. Looks like she has the right mind for the game, she speeds up before contact, where the other kids are slowing down. NO FEAR.

Awesome. While when she matures, things will likely be different (she'll be a track star one day) it's fun to watch.

One thing i noticed...She doesn't fiddle around when she gets the ball...straight line to the end zone only making moves when she needs too.

And was that the Texas Longhorns D that was trying to stop her?

I enjoyed that a lot more than I thought I might. That little girl will accomplish big things in life if she keeps that determination and certainty of purpose. As the father of a soon to be 13 year old daughter, I must admit, I loved it.
