Anyone else watching this or seen it? I find it fascinating how much has changed in only 50 years.

I have it DVRed. The teasers look great though.

The 30 for 30 series is one of the greatest things EPSN has put out in a long, long time. 'Benji' was incredible. I record them all.

Yeah I watched this on Tuesday. Very interesting documentary. I specifically liked the phone calls/negotiations between JFK/RFK and Governor Barnett.

"Even the longest night must give way to dawn" my favorite line of the show.

This one was good but admittedly not one of my favorites. The drama between JFK and the mayor was quite interesting though

I'd have to say the Escobar one was my favorites.

I saw it waiting for my Doc...I usually nail them pretty good for burning up my time. Not this time...I gotta admit, it wasn't a bad wait.

Interesting, that when even the gruff, tough football player saw the carnage, he had a bit of a reflective moment, and actually tried to intervene.

I did find it alarming that anyone would chuck a molitiff cocktail, and mention it rather casually...WTF? If I was the cop/guardsmen, I wouldn't have thrown it back...I'd have turned out his lights...guess thats why I'm not a cop of any kind.

I kinda look at the protests of today, and think we've come a long way, just in that regard.

Specifically related to race relations. Better than at that point...still a topic, which means its an issue. Wish it weren't but there is still hatred based on color of skin...special interest based on color of skin...there is sensationalism and profit to be made by the media on the topic...Long after the sentiments are gone from the populous...those that benefit from it will try to re-plant the seeds...it may never go away.
