The team, and the school, needs to do something to honour him at the last home game. He's a phenomenal football player and a great human being. ND is lucky to have had him at the school and they need to show some appreciation.

Place him next to Tebow, and who would you want to follow? Who comes across as more genuine?

Never seen or met anyone like him before.

I'm sure they're both more than genuine. Te'o is just not a douche about it. Tebow is of the Christian variety of "I need to show everyone how Christian I am because God told me so!"

Tim Tebow = Toledo Christian. All of my fellow Toledo posters should understand that thoroughly.

Exactly. Tebow needs to check out Matthew 6:5-8.

5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

#NotreDame LB @MTeo_5 Manti Te'o makes top 16 for both Maxwell and Bednarik awards. One of only 2 defensive players on Maxwell list.

McShay and Kiper both agreed Manti should be a top 5 pick in the upcoming NFL draft on Sports Center

Manti Te'o is going to do many great things, and very few of them will have anything to do with football. His football achievements will undoubtedly be great, but are likely to be a very small part of what he is remembered for.

Mahalo, a'ole!

Unfortunately, unless someone trades up, Te'o isn't going to a team I care for.

I could actually see the Bears trading up for him. With the aging LBs they have, they need some new blood. Imagine transitioning from Urlacher right into Manti. I would be ecstatic.

At the rate my Eagles are going, we might actually have a top 5 pick SMH

There is a lot of talk in Bear fandomhood of us making a trade to get him. He is the best middle LB prospect in a long time, and we have to replace Urlacher. It would be a move that Chicago would herald as brilliant.

God, I hope this happens. I was really hoping Floyd would have fallen a few more spots in last years draft, but Jeffery is doing well, when he's healthy. But gettin Manti on my Bears. Oh doggy.

I love Manti more than life itself sometimes haha but does anyone else think that top 5 is too high for an MLB? If he is Ray Lewis it is totally worth it, but AJ Hawk--an incredible MLB in college--was drafted at #5 and I wonder if he was worth it.
