Kate Upton

Not so sure now that the Tigers just got swept that Kate would be the one I want to be sitting with during the game.

AFTER the game, when ND won, heck yeah I would love to be "sitting next to" her.

My dad, hands down. He is a Buckeye fan, but understands my love for the IRISH and always cheers me on.

Grandfather played for ND in 57' and played a big role in ND breaking OU's win streak was so happy to be next to him and see the giant smile on his face after we kicked the **** out of the Sooners. I know we would both be in tears if we got to see Te'o and Co. lifting that crystal trophy above their heads.

Wow my Dad was a student during the Terry Brennan "era". I wonder if they actually knew each other. So cool to hear that story about your grandpa, which sadly lets me know how old I am in comparison...Ha!

Anyone.

For years, people have refused to watch a ND game beside me.
I'm usually locked up in my basement man cave and the rumblings can be heard all the way down the street.

That may change soon though. My three year old son is starting to ask what Daddy is doing downstairs.

I am envious of all you guys who have a generational love of Notre Dame in your families. I just called my dad yesterday and talked about Notre Dame and he was like "oh yeah...those guys...I didn't watch that game. Since when do you like Notre Dame?" Hell I would watch Notre Dame Saturday and Vikings Sundays for years and I couldn't pay my parents to watch with me. Two years after I moved away from home my dad suddenly discovers the Minnesota Vikings.:banghead2

Maybe you should lay off the chili, dude.

About 80,000 people.

So what if you have two tickets to the BCS championship? Who gets #2?

I lean toward my 8 year old son. He may not understand the significance of just playing in a national championship but he is old enough to carry the experience for the rest of his life. God knows he can sure get excited about anything.

Go Irish, beat Pitt!

If Poppa could come back down from Heaven.... but I'd take any time with him that I could get.

This, though, would be one of the sweetest....

"If Dad came down from Heaven,
we'd sit in glowing golden seats.

My Dad, the ND graduate, who had roomed with Andy Pilney,
and I his ND grad son, who had played intramural BBall with Nick Buoniconti...
We'd sit there as Coach and Manti led the Blue and Gold onto the field.

He'd smile at me and say:
'Mick, this is going to be a good day.'

And it would be the best of days".

Same. He hated sports before I went to ND and now is a huge fan even though he doesn't understand what's going on

Saw you were from Columbus-I graduated HS from WR back when it was a good school.
What year and where did you graduate from?

The fam, all of them. If I had to pick one.....I couldn't, have to be two-my dad and brother. Throw in my other ND buddies, and you guys and it would be perfect.

You guys. Seriously. It would be awesome to share that moment with guys as passionate about ND as I am. It sucks being surrounded by people that don't care. None of my family members are fans.

But it'll probably be me and my two dogs, Holtz and Montana, and a tall cold beer.

I will cry.

Yeah...I got two OSU grads and Mich grad in my fam.

That's why I joined IE. That and to bash every safety that plays football for us only to be proved wrong everytime. LOL

My wife cried when OU lost to Florida... she was in the dumps for a week or so... I would love to see OU win one then ND the next year... or vice versa... she has been so great at adopting ND as her second school,...

I'd definately go with her in terms of my world.

Fantasy, I would go with the Irish favs of mine... Autry Denson would be cool... maybe Ken Mcafee... always loved Demetrius Dubose too, rest his soul... The Bus... Rocket... any of those.

I'd want to be sitting with my Grandfather. 3rd generation fan, and never got to watch a game with him... aside from him, I'd have to say my family. They go to almost all of the home games, and the only game I was fortunate enough to see in SB was against Navy a few years ago. We lost. It stung for a first game to be at, but the experience was incredible, and I couldn't imagine sitting with anyone else.

I actually watch every game by myself.

Trinity
Rackem
Hollywood

Mostly this whole board.

But mostly my grandpa who went there but he will be watching it from a better place.

I would cry like a little kid so I don't know if anyone who would want see that and I would be dangerously drunk. I cried when the Hawks won the cup but this would be different on so many levels.

My wife is a huge Gators fan and she's been a little slower adopting ND as her #2 team. But she's coming along.

My wife is an Alum of Embry Riddle, Park and OU... thank goodness only one of those has a major football team... so I can't blame her for being a die hard Sooner... just glad she has taken to ND also.
