Michigan jumped Boise in the human polls. After all these years of saying Boise doesn't belong, which it probably doesn't this year, the humans will keep them out.

This looks like a decent place to put this considering it's talking about bowl games. It looks like Lou is getting legitimately tired of the ND hate. Not once in this video did they talk about ND's defense, the fact that Oregon's schedule is a joke and that K-state's win over WVU is nothing special as the Mountaineers are severely overrated. Why do I even bother to watch these things.

The recipe for any football championship, in most years, play solid defense and run the ball. ND does both. Against a higher average level of competition.

Funny how everyone said if ND could win out with this schedule they would be in the NC game. Now they are doing everything in their power to slight every opponent on it.

To be fair, some of our opponents are doing everything they can to weaken our schedule as well (see MSU, Purdue, Miami).

I wouldn't mind playing an SEC. I think we match up well with any of their teams. A Notre Dame vs Florida game would be sure to combine for less than 20 points total.

The only thing that annoys me is the fact that it would be in the Sugar bowl, which is essentially a home game for the SEC team.

MSU is a disappointment, however although most assumed that Miami and purdue would be much approved, I still think we believed they would be "breaks" in our schedule anyway.

Best case scenario, wins over the following: Mich (Big 10 winners), Oklahoma (BCS at large) and USC (Pac 12 winners).

Undefeated and wins over 3 BCS teams would guarantee Notre Dame a berth in the Championship game even over undefeated SEC winner and KSU.

I would rather play Florida than KState at this point. I'll take KState though.

**** (insert expletive of choice). If this doesn't make you want to go out and crush every team left on the schedule, I don't know what will. Screw you, Mark May.

Also, when do you think ESPN will bother to get our new helmets?

I'm not sure why I watched that...it just makes me want to punch Mark Mary even more than I already did. God I hate that smug bastard.

I opened this thread on 10/7 when Jerry Palm first projected ND to play in the Fiesta. His 10/28 projections are out and he once again has ND in the Fiesta facing KSU.

I'll be a USC fan next weekend, and an Oregon State fan in the coming weeks along with Stanford. Oregon will probably have to beat USC twice, beating any team twice is very difficult to do.

I still can't wrap my head around an undefeated ND team losing out on the NC. Especially vs Alabama. That would be the most hyped game ever.

ND can go undefeated and finish 3rd because the schools that will play in Conference Championships get a bonus game and a boost for the winner (and the conference) after the season is over. Meanwhile ND sits home idle. You don't rise in the polls on a Bye unless everbody above you loses. Even with the computers an additional win is a big bump. That's the main reason Roy Kramer, First BCS Czar, and SEC Commissioner set it up that way.

Fiesta would be a huge accomplishment, and beyond my wildest dreams before Navy, but we're all dreaming bigger. #pinchme

If Louisville wins out and is the Big East Champion is there any way we could play them in a BCS game?

I want to play them the most just because I have family who live down in Louisville and i think it would be a cool little family rivalry

I don't want to get too far ahead of myself either. Notre Dame has to beat Pitt before we should think about anything else

You all do realize now that if we end up in the Fiesta bowl it will be because we lost to a team we shouldn't have right?

NATIONAL TITLE GAME OR BUST!!!!!!!!!!

USC is still extremely talented with dangerous skill positions. And you better believe that if we're undefeated they'll be as pumped to play us as OU was. It'll be a helluva game

Ummm idk about that. USC seems a little mentally fragile to me. Yes they are very talented but it seems like if they lose 2-3 games they just mentally implode. Maybe this is just me

USC can't take the beating from our front 7. Barkley gets rattled easy and its over. They have no running game.

I dont think we can beat florida, I dont want to play florida that would be pretty crappy for us.

That's what was said back in the Sugar Bowl too. Irish have no business playing a Florida team with National Title aspirations. Guess what? Florida got boat raced.

I think Robert Woods is the second best receiver in College Football. He would probably be far and away the best on any team except USC.
