Possibly forecasting a loss to FSU, would be my guess. Florida has not looked hot lately and FSU has the athletes to take it to them.
I guess but I'd still take Florida over LSU with Florida's resume and SoS. But the Sugar Bowl is played in New Orleans so I guess LSU would make since from that standpoint.

Yes, we're going to the NCG against somebody from the SEC but several months ago when I opened this thread Jerry Palm was the first to forecast ND going to a BCS Bowl, the Fiesta, and people scoffed. I'll honor Palm by keeping this thread alive until the Bowls are finalized.

Palm's Computer predicts as of 11/24/12 this year's bowls teams will be:

NCG ND v ALA
Fiesta KSU v ORE
Sugar UF v OU
Orange FSU v UL
Rose NEB v SU

Other ND opponents:
Heart of Dallas Purdue vs. Iowa St
Capital One Michigan vs. Georgia
Kraft Fight Hunger ASU vs. Navy
Buffalo Wild Wings OKS vs Michigan St
Las Vegas Boise St vs. USC
Poinsettia San Diego St vs. BYU

Palm does not project PIT, BC, WF, or Miami to a bowl game. PIT is 5-6 and would have to beat Rutgers to become eligible. IF they do, they'll get a bowl bid as there appears to be a shortage of teams. BC finished 2-10, WF 5-7 so both are already scratched. Miami has enough wins at 7-5 but declared themselves bowl ineligible as they are facing NCAA Sanctions.

Obviously Ala has to beat UGA in the SEC Championship to meet ND in the NCG.
