I'm guessing after watching this game, I'm sure Isaac could see himself playing for both defenses! I think both ND and Stanford did a heck of a job defensively.

Absolutely! I have a lot of respect for Stanford's D! Their front seven is amazing too. I also really like the play of Carter. Still a little bitter we couldn't pull him in.

A hawaii boy going off to texas A&M, that just does not ring true to me. Ive watched alot of our talented players go off to the mainland---Stanford --YES---ND --we all know that story---washington/ucla/utah/byu/washington state/ cal/oregon/ those are the kind of teams that almost ALL the local talent goes to. Texas a&m would be a very unusual chioce.

A Hawaii player is already committed to Texas A&M, Jeremy Tabuyo. A&M has been up there for him the whole time and he just had a "near perfect" trip there last week.

his high school tape is almost identical to T'eo's! Now, I'm not saying that he is the next T'eo, but holy moly, i like what i just witnessed. He reacts quickly, is just an aggressive tackler and has great closing speed.

He does look amazing. Would love to have this guy - and keep AA. One thing that stanford showed is what having multiple top-tier linebackers can do.

Only one difference, Trent Murphy and Chase Thomas are OLB's in Stanford's defence. Both AA and Savaiinaea project as ILB's, for the most part.

Jaylon is the alpha dog. So really meant that adding these two guys with him and you have domination. Then add the rest of the LB recruiting class ...

Somewhat unrelated, but Isaac looks like he has OLB type speed as well.

Ive noticed that too. There has been talk that he may be a CAT OLB or even possibly grow into a 4-3 DE.

The more I see of Savaiinea the more I think that ILB is the place for him though. And I think that's probably where the staff wants him to play ... the chatter about him playing OLB or DE is just speculation (some of which I admit I fueled) that is mostly baseless as far as I know.

There is no doubt he could be CAT prospect but there is no doubt his ideal position is inside.

ND is fine at the CAT and already have Randolph in the fold and are still heavily after Alquadin Muhammad for the position.

I agree with Hawaii... Isaac is on par with Manti athletically, he even looks a step faster. He has that same "knock back ability" Diaco's term that he uses to describe Manti. We all know Manti's leadership and intagibles are off the charts. But Isaac seems to be a seemless a fit as ND could have when Manti graduates. Yes, he also seems capable of playing some cat. If he and Muhammed come...Forgettaaboutiiit!!!
