From AMC Walking Dead Season 3 Preview Marathon

The Walking Dead takes over AMC this weekend with a full series marathon that starts on Saturday and includes behind-the-scenes featurettes from the Season 3 production then culminates on Sunday with a live Talking Dead primetime special during which you'll actually see a scene from Season 3

Should be a pretty exciting season from all the buzz I have heard.

I purposely avoided this thread during season 2 because I missed the first few episodes due to a dvr issue. Waited patiently til season 2 came out on dvd, watched all the episodes in a two or three day period, and now I'm so f'ing excited for season 3.

Well considering Rick went all Paul Bunyan on his leg, you have to figure AMC will keep him alive.

Or I can see the story line evolving that Rick and co. get more desperate if Herschel dies because they don't have a doctor anymore, especially in regards to Lori's pregnancy.

Although its unlikely perhaps one of the prisoners has medical experience? Or the prison doctor survived the attack?
