I'm watching the Pats vs. Bills game on CBS, and Brady misplaced his helmet, which is a problem because it has the mic in it which is connect to the OC calling plays.

Why doesn't ND do that with Golson? It seems it'd be a fairly simple solution.

I don't believe the NCAA allows it. In the NFL one player on offense and one on defense (well I think one is allowed on defense) are allowed to be connected to the coach.

Yeah this is what I thought. Hence why Oregon started using the big signs with graphics on it. Otherwise, they would just use a mic to tell the QB the play.

I'm watching the Raiders vs Broncos game.

I wonder if Peyton lets the coach know which play he's running?

i was watching the Raider game too, they're a joke of a football team

Hopefully they get better when they move back to L.A.

I hear the new stadium was approved.

I for one would be for this, let the QB and the MLB (or 1 other defender) have a mic. It seems like it would make even more sense in college where the QBs need more help, it would also help our tempo IMMENSELY

Dave Wannstache may be a joke, but Pitt certainly isn't doing any better since he left. That may be more damning towards Pitt as a program though than bolstering the Stache's rep.

Oregon's offense would get destroyed in the NFL.

I agree. Everyone in the NFL is fast. Everyone is also big. Can't just rely on pure athleticism. The QB's would drop like flies running that much.

Ask Vince Young....

Skip Bayless said that, "he just wins" and NFL defensive coordinators are intelligent

I don't think that there is a microphone, only a headset. One way communication, where the coaches can speak to the QB, but not vice-versa.
