ND actually stopped by his high school last week. As of now he hasn't scheduled a visit. He will visit Florida next weekend.

Dont think anything will come of it but its interesting that ND is still pursuing top WR's with 4 in the class.

Not surprising considering the versatility of the current commits. Fuller could play CB if needed, Onwualu could play RB or DB if needed, and some think Robinson may yet grow to be a TE (pack that weight on!). If they can get a top pass-catcher who is a sure thing to play WR, it gives them more options with the other commits if moves need to be made for depth at other positions.

It shouldn't be interesting to anyone but it is smart! We lost recruits that were 100% commited before plus we are a top 10 team w a lot of attention...we are just trying to cash in and remain in contact because none of our commits are a guarantee

Let's not forget about Hunter Jr. either. He may very well be football first right now but what about after he plays his senior year in baseball? A lot can change from now until February and until he shows up for camp.

That's the thing I've been wondering about. If Tori winds up being a 1st RD MLB draft pick, how does one turn that down?

Until the signature is afixed to the LOI, I think you keep recruiting everyone. Those you have a verbal from and those you haven't landed. Way too many variables to get in the way including the other schools continuing to recruit our verbals.

He doesn't need the money. He can do what he loves.

Agree and disagree. That isn't HIS money. I am guessing he loves them both. I know I loved basketball more than football but chose to play football in college instead.

There is plenty of time before he signs and shows up.

Tori won't be a first round pick also his preferred choice is football. Also on Robinson don't see it happening at all

5 is a lot. Is the idea that Fuller could play CB or JO could play safety? I would agree with that.

I don't see C. Robinson moving, though, and Hunter, like D. Neal, seems to be one of those instinctually offensive players.

so Clemson is going to let him take a visit?

I don't think they want him to but he is. Says he will visit Clemson, Florida and Notre Dame than have a final decision. Says he is a soft verbal.

Big question will be is his mom going to make the trip with him to South Bend

So this is interesting because sapp in last weeks TV said we would only be going after ELITE receivers and that was basically only treadwell . The staff must view Robinson as just that elite.

I agree I do think he's that good. I guess whats interesting is how many receivers they view as elite.

Allgator it doesn't say anything about mom. If you have rivals the article is on the Clemson home site.

Listened to the interview and I think we have made one heck of an effort here but I think he likes the glitz and glamour too much to come to ND. But Booker is putting in work thats for sure. It seems as tho we are still heavily recruiting him and treadwell.

Alright fellas, maybe i miss spoke a little bit. What would be better parties and pom poms. Is that a better reference? I basically meant I don't think he is cut from the same cloth as lets say Jaylon.

In Clemson, parties are held in cow fields. Although at the bars they do have pitchers of liquor for $6 (I dont know how to load a personal picture or I would show you), which close on Saturday night at midnight because its SC Law in Clemson. THe sudent Center has a 10 lane bowling alley and 10 pool tables. Other than that, well.....

From most recruits I have read about, to Dabo's credit, the recruits like the fact that it is a close knit community and very family oriented. This is a common theme I hear about. Honestly there is little to do unless you drive to Greenville or Atlanta.

The town Robinson is from (Fort Valley) has less than 10000 people. There isn't much to do unless you drive another 15-20 minutes to Warner Robins, which still has nothing to offer. He could be used to a small town life or it might not weigh on his decision at all. The school he comes from isn't known as an education hotspot, but anyone can work hard and make it. By the way, for being a small town in GA, they have grown a lot of NFL talent there.

I would love to get this kid just as much as everybody else but if you watch the interview you'll see he says nothing about academics, not even when the interviewer asks why he likes ND. Just seems when kids don't even mention academics, our chances dwindle.

We can speculate what his reasons are, but the bottom line is he is still thinking about ND, when it appeared we didn't have a shot. Where there's smoke.........?
