I am not arguing against late decisions, I am arguing against dragging things out in dedication to a "process" as if there are no consequences.

Lets be honest, if Mac wakes up the morning of NSD and decides he's Irish, no one here is going to have the first reaction, "Geez, why not sooner, he could have helped the class!"

Some kids just don't know where they want to go. Some kids also jump the gun early and then change their minds later on. It is the name of the game now. Kelly understands this, and he keeps on recruiting no matter what.

Alexander has already picked a program and decommitted once. Some schools on his list he has not made a visit to yet. This whole process is crazy now, families are now spending 10's of thousands of dollars because schools want to finish out their class early and kids want to secure a spot at the right school. Alexander clearly does not know where he wants to go to school. He should take his time gather all the information and hopefully make the right choice for him and his family. Teams can either wait or move on to the next prospect.

I also believe that Davonte Neal waited until after signing day and didn't even show up during his scheduled announcement at a middle school. He is definitely a category 2 drag-it-out until national signing day type of recruit, but I can guarantee no one here was angry or upset when he commited. I think we will all be ecstatic if Mackensie decides ND is for him, and I don't think anyone will be complaining either.

His plan right now is to unofficial visit FSU for the Clemson game. Says he wants to observe each teams Defenses and won't root for anyone. Plans may fall threw.

Only other visit planned is Nebraska, wants to visit Clemson, WONT OFFICIAL TO ND.



Kids Recruitment is Bizarre. I have no idea what to think.

He could commit to a school then have his family move to that city and I still would not believe it until signing day. I don enjoy following his recruitment it is epic

“I’m scheduled for week 9 to Nebraska,” Alexander added. “I haven’t set up any other visits yet. I’m going to go see Clemson as well, but I don’t have a date yet.”

Some sources have Alexander listing Notre Dame as his favorite after taking an unofficial visit to South Bend over the summer. However, it doesn’t appear that the Irish are in line for a second trip.

"I don’t think I’m going to see Notre Dame, I’ve seen them already,” Alexander said. “Right now going back to Notre Dame is not in the plans. We’ll see, though -- I can’t tell you guys everything.”

His visit to Florida State this weekend will be an unofficial, as would any visit to a state school.

“I won’t take an official anywhere in the state because I can just drive there and see what I need to see,” Alexander said.

For some reason I am not worried based on what he said... It seems like he knows what ND has to offer and wants to see other schools... I like this line for whatever reason:

Yup, with the relationship the staff has built with MacK you never know. He knows how important he is to this class and I'm sure he think very long and hard before cutting us! And even then...

There is no chance Alexander goes to ND, but he is going to be good one.

Will be interesting to see where he ends up.

At this point you go full press on Willis and Moore. Keep recruiting Alexander but even if he did commit, you recruit like he isn't verballed.
