I've been saying forever. LSU/Alabama are the cream of the college football world, everyone else in the SEC is riding those coattails (Particularly the SEC East).

It's just hard to think of LSU as a real, "grown up" college. I know several guys that went there for a year or two, then transferred and went to a real school when they grew up and realized partying wasn't a smart career choice. Most of their players are quite comical when they are interviewed. It's almost like ESPN needs subtitles when interviewing them. Hahahahaha.
But, yes, they are head and shoulders above the rest.

This x100. I've been saying something similar for years. Every year the SEC gets a couple really great teams... but the bottom half of the conference is no better than any other conference.... and they all play 4 gimmie games to completely inflate their record.
This year, only Alabama and LSU are elite... and only Georgia is even "very good." Everyone else is very, very average.

UCLA is beating Nebraska 29-27 with 6:26 left in the game.
I think I'd put So. Car. in there with Ga as very good, but not elite. They have a back who can carry them when the need arises, and a pretty solid defense. They lost a lot in the draft, but they are still going to be very good. Hard to compare anyone else to Bama and LSU tho. Saban has Bama loaded and they are scary good. Think they are clearly the best, and will have to have a down game to beaten by anyone else.

well let's not get ridiculous. ARkansas was really good until Petrino forgot he had a brain. UGA is ridiculously talented yet overachieve. And Florida was recently dominant and is now going through some coaching trouble. Auburn is down but recently won the NC. LSU and Alabama are right now the best teams they have for sure and there is no doubt. But there are other teams which have sick talent and Texas A&M and Mizzou just make them a lot deeper. Miss State is also good right now.
He has looked awesome in his new spot as prototype OLB. So wish we had him.
UCLA has some legit speed. Makes ND look slow unfortunately.
