Kids not going to ND even if he decommits. That academic stuff was BS. Kid just wants to stay home.

anymore the right thing for recruits to say is that they're going to choose a school with academics in mind...seems like 90% of recruits are quoted to say that, but they really don't mean it. they are just saying what sounds good on tv or on paper with no intention of carrying out these plans.

imo at RB we are in pretty good shape so really there's no need to go after a mid level prospect to fill a spot where there is no need. we can use that spot to go after an elite prospect at another position that we may already be "full"

Right now, the only RB recruit I wouldnt mind is Elliot, and that is if he flips at all. Muhammad maybe, but I have a feeling that the staff wants a RB this cycle, they have plenty of offers out for the position.

I really would love Tarean Folston but I dont know what the mutual interest in, he seems to be pretty tight lipped, although I think he is visiting.

He also said that 'I will be playing freshman year'. I think that takes ND out of the running...

Pretty confident kid

Tons of kids say that, and all these kids are uber-confident. Means nothing. There are plenty of kids on the ND roster that thought the exact same thing, and many of them did play as freshman, ahead of older kids.

Ryan ain't coming to ND b/c of distance, not b/c of the depth chart. Now, if ND wins (tough) and FSU falters, and his parents can be swayed, then we might be in business. But it sounds like his family got their way. Most of the time, family works in ND's favor. In this case, it didn't...

I would bet Mahone gets to see the field this year. If Wood leaves early and Riddick will be gone, for Green to see the field, it's not a stretch.

Exactly, except for the Mahone part. And I am in the boat that Cierre is gone after this year. He is always talking about getting his money and I thinkhe has a daughter. If he has a bad year or gets injured that could change.

As for Ryan switching to ND, I just can't see it happening.

Ryan is out the rest of his high school season due to a shoulder injury. Tough break for the kid, just glad it wasn't a leg. Good luck Ryan.

Man, tough break. Way better than a knee injury though. At least that explosiveness is not in jeopardy.

Florida State is moving him to CB. Very surprising to me as an outside observer. I loved him at RB.

Wow. He was one of my favorite RBs in that class, if not my favorite.

May be a system casualty. FSU is using these big beefy RBs now. Green belongs at a school that plays more of a classic spread offensive style, rather than Jimbo's quasi-pro-style or whatever it is.

If you're not going to be THE GUY, CB is a much more lucrative position with many more job openings at the next level.
