I want to get back to football a little. I thought Kelly looked and sounded more like a coach who was relaxed and comfortable where he and the team are in their development. He didn't seem so much like he was trying to convince us where he is going to take Notre Dame football but more like he felt like the all of the pieces are starting to be there.
The more he talked about the 11 on 11 and how important it was in developing the QB's, the more impressed I was with his thinking. He's changing, evolving his process to be successful. I'll admit I came away impressed.
He wasn't selling, he was a coach who is pleased with his team.
It may not mean wins, especially against this schedule but I wouldn't be surprised with more wins than we think.

The thing about these new uniforms is that Notre Dame has recognized that nothing we think really matters as much as what the players think. And they love the uniform.

Apparently they reveresed the direction of the Leprechaun so it would be facing the opponent during the game.
I actually kind of like the helmets. My biggest personal issue when I first saw was that I wasn't the biggest fan of the number font. For some reason, just didn't appeal to me. It's just one game, and it's for the players and recruits - I will always support what gets them excited for the program and on the field.

Looks like we got a mixed bag here opinion wise. Personally I love them! They are a lot nicer to me than last years Shamrock series. I wouldn't mind getting me one with Aaro... Manti Te'o's #5 cemented on it! Sorry I couldn't resist, I wanted a lynch under the lights jersey so bad last year! Anyways, great job ND!

I think the biggest thing that I like more about this years jersey vs. last years is the undershirt / sleeves part. I hated the dull, off-gold from last year with a passion. The ones this year complement the uniform much better IMO.

Nothing wrong with bringing in some moderness to ND......the recruits will like them. So i like them. Remember we will still be wearing the traditional jerseys the rest of forever

Tons of fans like them. It's called an opinion. And par for the course, anyone with an opinion that differs from yours is wrong. What a joke.
I didn't like them until I saw them on Manti and Eifert. But the truth is, it doesn't matter if WE like them. Recruits and players LOVE these type of unis. Look at how many players talk about Oregon's unis. They make a difference, whether you want to believe it or not (winning trumps all of course, but I'll take any type of difference I can get).
Bottom line, if the players like them, then that trumps all...
