Nothing but love for Danny, but Jaylon and Alquadin Muhammad are both complete freak athletes who are all over the field. Muhammad is the type of guy who, even when he doesn't get to the QB in a pass-rush situation, will turn around and make downfield tackles. I was drooling watching his film.

I would say that is fair considering he couldn't even remember his recruiter's name from UF.

With the pick up of Doug R., any chance Isaac get recruited as a DE? His OV is still on as far as I know. He's still likely to keep growing and he should really be able to pack on some weight if need be thanks to his heritage. Would love for him to be Irish.

I think it's crazy, but you have to take him if he wants to come. Just because of his location. It's also a little bit like when they took all the DEs in 2011. Granted, they needed them a lot more. But you can actually redshirt some of these guys which ND hasn't been doing. Did they redshirt Grace or did he play on ST?

Well, in my opinion, because he is an elite defensive prospect, and because 21st century defense [even on the edges of the D-Line] is going all-out speed and athleticism, I'd look at my batch of 2013 linebackers and think: which of these guys might be a demonic pass-rusher? I wouldn't have to come up with Isaac as an answer to that, but if I came up with one or two "creative thoughts" I might say: We should add this guy if he wants to come.

either way what I think this D continues to show is that they need way better athletes at MLB so I think they need to take this kid if they can get him no matter what. Then I guess they wouldn't bring back Fox or Calabrese.
