I always love the "most likely won't have the grades" recruits. When I ventured through a preseason publication of current ND players, over 80% are majoring in Arts and Letters, not that there is anything wrong with that. I know Lou was able to get a few exemptions during his tenure. I just hope that the admin will let it's guard down just slightly in the future.

Oh sorry. Didnt mean Cole doesnt have the grades, just not sure with if USC will/can get rid of someone if they are in position for Cole or someone else.

This is the kind of guy where the longer you stay in the mix, the better your chances become. If he is looking for a good football factory, no chance; if he is letting the football factories knock themselves off and is looking for a good school . . .

Boomer -- Cole Luke is as reserved about his recruitment as anyone I've ever covered. I know he likes Texas and Notre Dame. He's visiting Oklahoma, too. So we'll see. His HS coach is a former ND player. He's really quiet about his preferences.

imo Cole is seeing us play twice in Sept. I believe it will make a big impression on him.

I don't think they can

They can. Their class is nowhere near set in stone, and they'll bump a guy off in a heartbeat to get a better player.

Commit Sebastian Larue went to USC recently to talk to the coaches just to see if they were interested in him still. Apparently he's real worried that he's not good enough to start early at WR, and he's worried that they'll recruit someone better and leave him hanging at the altar.

But with Cole, I never hear their fans nor their recruitniks talking about him. So for him to have USC in his top 4, when many aren't even sure if they are recruiting him hard, is strange. But then again we just got a RB last month that we had no clue we were recruiting...

I would like if we could pull Luke and Moore if Alexander chooses elsewhere

I saw some fan on the Rivals chat say that but I don't think there is a way they can take two additional. Maybe swat out two current commits for a new two though.

Not that I don't believe you, but how?

According to some really credible source on 24 7 on USC site that's what he said. Not that I believe it but this is what he is saying. He was right about Greenberry and Tee last year so who knows. Don't really like starting rumors but this guy is usually right.

So does he mean 2 more on top of what they have now or what? Two more than their magic number?

I just don't get why they even give sanctions if they can just get around them whenever it benefits them. LOL.

I'll take Sebastian Larue if USC has no more love for him.

He's also visiting us for the Michigan game. If I had guess right now we are number two behind Texas.
