Fantastic year already!!!! Honestly, buzzing for this. The whole weekend in Dublin will be superb. Hope they sort out the tailgate parties. My brother in law is coming and has not got a clue about American Football, never mind NCAA!!!

Irish people dont do tailgates, also Lansdowne has no carpark. There are many bars around the stadium that also do BBQ so there will probably be some of that.

I've only just signed up. I was at a wedding on the ND campus last Sept. which is why I'm claiming allegience. I'm travelling up from Cork for the game. I only booked my hotel yesterday when a room became available as it was impossible before that. So I'm guessing you guys have all the rooms booked up??

Anyone who is attending this trip get their Emerald Isle Classic pint glasses?

I know it is dependent on which travel agency (Anthony Travel) you booked though, but the glasses I received are pretty legit--a little larger than a pint and have an engraving of the game and team names on the side. Also, if you look into the glass (or turn it upside down) you will see an engraved football.

The box had the official Notre Dame sticker on the outside but after a 5 minute google search, I cant find a picture. I'll post a picture if I find one.

A little dark, but you get the idea.

May take action on the odds on whether or not any IE members meet up at any point in time. Would be comical if we meet in Ireland but not in the US.

I only live 2hrs from Dublin. I'm leaving at 8 in the morning and want to know what is the programme for the day. For a rugby international in the Aviva we would hit the bars in Ballsbridge at about 11.30 but I don't want to miss anything. It will be my only chance to experience a day like this.
