That's 8 spots higher than Te'o was ranked in the final Rivals rankings in 2009.

Tim May from the Columbus Dispatch just said he talked to a sportswritter from Fort Wayne saying he thinks that Jaylon is leaning towards the Buckeyes.

Not saying Tim May is wrong.....but the sportswriters here in Ft. Wayne aren't usually the best connected. He may have spoken to a sprtswriter here, but I take everything they say with a healthy dose of alcohol.

Tim May also says OSU could go 12-0.

We must land this kid... He lives in IN also so we must do what it takes and keep the 5 star 4 star talent at home...

Jaylon's brother goes to OSU, I would think they get even odds unless and until he picks someone else.

brother barley plays plus he wants to pave his own way. But I'll agree with you.

The fact that he is not a major contributor could make a difference, but Jaylon seems like a real good kid and that means he is going to treat his brother's coaching staff with a lot of respect/deference.

He is on a full ride? No disrespect but know what your saying before you say it.

The world is flat and i'm sticking to it. I am my own source.

Lol, whatever. My attitude has become indifference to recruits until they committ, and then skepticism until they stop flirting with other coaches, so I am pretty out of it recruiting wise this year anyway.

So the last couple days in this thread have kinda been like whaaaaaaattt?

With that said do most on here still like what's been said about how June is gonna go for us? I still really like our chances with Jaylon but I like our chances with everybody because I'm too much of a homer.

Also, on all these linebackers I am starting to think we take 5 with one possibly with the frame to move to the d-line.

Ok peace out!

I am trying to resist! So far only Isaac R and jaylon have sucked me in, because they were supposedly about commit.

The USC Rivals recruitnik (who predicted Deonte Greenberry's decommitting on NSD all the way back in November) did some digging and found that Jaylon and Hutchings aren't even remotely close friends. It was just that Hutchings was trying to recruit Jaylon so Jaylon threw him a bone (and that's why Hutchings retweeted it).

From everything the mod heard, ND was still in front, and that even though Jaylon says he'll visit USC for their camp and USC is a slight player, ND is still the team to beat. He also told USC fans to pump the brakes when thinking that Jaylon would be a Trogan...

He probably is just going to the USC camp to show the coaches and the commits that "this is what's going to be kicking your *** for the next four years when I step on campus in the Bend" ;)

That's what I like to hear! Thanks for the update.
