.Trey Johnson will only be a junior in the fall, but the 6-foot-1, 208-pound linebacker from Lawrenceville, Ga., (Central Gwinnett) has already lost track of his scholarship total.

It’s hard to blame him considering he’s approaching 20 offers from schools like Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Illinois, LSU, Miami, Ohio state, South Carolina, Tennessee and USC among others. Johnson also reports an offer from Notre Dame, which he said came during the May evaluation period.

Will be visiting in the first week of June before he leaves for the opening

Likes ND's history, coaches, education, and opportunity for early playing time after Teo leaves.

Still committed to Auburn but also considering USC, PSU, and Miami

Also in 7 games last year he had 164 tackles. Yes 164. That's ****ing insane.

Doesn't the staff have a policy where they don't recruit kids once they commit elsewhere, saying that if a kid is interested they'll contact the staff?

For him to be talking about visiting ND, that means he's reached out to the staff. That's a good sign, at least.

No they will call the high school coaches to gauge interest.

Booker has been the one recruiting him so I'm guessing it was him.

Has OV planned for ND, Miami, and USC.
Still committed to Auburn.
He does not want to follow his coach to PSU because the "weather".

It's clear if he is visiting ND that "weather" is not a determining factor. If you really have to think about why someone does not want to visit PSU, well, jokes on you.

Manti was at the 'Cuse game, just get them on campus. Let the campus do work.

Maybe it really is weather and he's only visiting ND on an OV for tourism.

The weather thing makes me laugh. If these kids have nfl aspirations, do they think they will be playing in a dome or miami every sunday?

While they can't pick where they're drafted, they can pick where they go to school for 3-5 years.
