Just FYI, profile link doesnt show offer.

Like what im hearing though, seems like the type of back that will fit at ND. Doubt we will pull him out of Florida though.

RB Mike Bellamy (Punta Gorda, Fla./Charlotte) just told me Clemson is his leader.
Shurburtt twitter

Scout has UF and UGA leading with ND nowhere to be seen.

Scout gave Bellamy a 5th Star and kicked up up to #5 RB

Clemson chasing one of Florida's fastest

By Phil Kornblut
4/28/10
Clemson has done well in recent years attracting fast backs out of Florida and the Tigers are in pursuit of one of that state's fastest players in RB Mike Bellamy (5-10 180) of Punta Gorda. Bellamy is a sub 4.4 sprinter who rushed for 2153 yards and 31 touchdowns last season. He had over 3000 all purpose yards. "He's a great playmaker," said Charlotte High coach Binky Waldrop. "He has great instincts to go along with his speed." Bellamy's offers include Clemson, Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida State, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, TCU, Tennessee, Southern Cal, West Virginia, Georgia and Florida. His leaders right now are Clemson, Florida, Georgia and Alabma. "He likes what Clemson did with CJ Spiller," Waldrop said. "He's very interested in Clemson." So much so, Bellamy plans to make about a two week trip to Clemson after his spring practice. Bellamy probably will play some quarterback this season, and he can also play in the secondary.

@CFTalk: Clemson announces RB Mike Bellamy has been ruled academically ineligible and will not play for the Tigers in '12. Headed to JUCO ranks.

I am sorry but i think this is something the NCAA needs to change. The kid is ruled academically ineligible, so he should have to sit out a year no transferring down, and if they do transfer they should have to sit out for the year, and then another year because of the transfer rule. These kids need to be held accountable for not doing well in the classroom. I am sure the classes he was taking wernt that hard.

Just add another number to Whiskey's grad rate spreadsheet. To say I'm not surprised by this would be a bit of an understatement.

You guys ever heard of Julius Jones, Darin Walls, Gary Gray? Just wondering...

This is not going to change my opinion on this. I am not being bias based on the school. In ohio if your academically inalienable you have to sit out that quarter no transferring or any of that bull ****. I am sure its the same way in most states. Kids need to accountable for what they do on the field in the classroom and off the field there is no difference. Thing just need to change kids cant just go to school and expect to do nothing and if something happens transfer out and everything be all hunky dory.

Its cool just wanted to make my statement thats all. And this is coming from someone who is just out of college and had alittle bit of issues. But it made me a better person and more responsible.

I trying to figure out where he will play next season but i do not see any report about him since one year ago. What happened with him? Looked like the real deal his freshman year at Clemson.
