I wanted him to be the starter from jump street. WRs and TEs need to actually catch the ball though.

Lets hope this is a good decision and not a Weis decision throwing in random QBs hoping to save the situation.

I wanted him to be the starter from the get-go too. I just think he has that "it" factor, while Crist doesn't...

Well, Ironwood, I understand how you feel but I just don't think he could really do much worse than Crist... Last year, he proved to be a winner, in fact, I think. Wouldn't you agree?

This pull is a little quick, but Crist didnt look good at all. I have confidence in Tommy to win this game.

There goes any chance we had to come back. I haven't questioned Kelly at all the last year, but this is the first time. Terrible decision. I don't see how putting an incompetent QB in the game is going to help.

Rees loves interceptions.

Honestly, I don't care who quarterbacks this team i just want someone to get us into the endzone. I shouldnt be so tough on Tommy. But I'm freaking beside myself here. The offense should be ashamed, except for Cierre.

OK, Tommy. Prove me wrong here.

Did that prove you wrong?

Crist is no leader or team player. Not even happy for Tommy our the team. Selfish. May be last time he sees field at ND.

Dayne Crist seems like a great kid, but i'm sorry, he just doesn't really seem able to handle playing in games like Tommy Rees does.

Happy for Tommy. Happy to be proved wrong. We needed that. I don't think it was fair to blame Dayne for the poor start. In fact, he wouldn't be in my top-5 of people to blame. But that is water under the bridge. I hope Tommy gets it done, but I still think Dayne could have, too.

Agree, Dayne only made one bad decision but isn't being a good teammate at the moment. Team believes in Tommy after last year. GREAT coaching decision, and one I dont think our previous regime makes. Go Irish!

... and look how the rest of the team is responding to his (Rees') presence on the field!

Will be interesting to hear if BK admits he made a wrong decision starting Dayne.

At what point does BK bust a vein in his neck from all the screaming, and when does it become counter productive.

...that ball did hit TJ in the head.

Rees to Floyd looks good for the TD!

Feel bad for Crist, though....

Crist has had 2 bad passes from what I can tell.

The defense has played well but it is hard to CARRY the whole defense.
