USC's a top 3 job in college football, not a whole lot of guys out there who wouldn't at least take the call. If I'm USC obviously the first call is to Chip Kelly, but from an ND fan perspective I'm praying they go with Jack Del Rio.

I completely agree with this... he's one of the few coach/GMs in the entire league. Philly is all-in on Chip and will not fire him after one bad season.

Also, the NFC East is a shitshow... still a good chance the Birds can win the division.

Better question, when is Pat Haden shown the door? He's largely been a total joke as an AD. Think about it, he's had to fire a coach mid season twice now. Totally unacceptable.

Texas, USC, Florida, in that order. I love ND but it's not a top 3 or top 5 job anymore.

Unless you mean with alumni or something non-football related I'd say you're crazy. Chip Kelly with USC's recruiting advantages is scary.

They're pretty similar, I think Florida has an advantage due to being in the SEC rather than the ACC and having the edge in academics.

Alabama, Michigan, OSU, Texas, ND, USC, all have an argument IMO. It really depends on what you want. Want prestige? ND. Want weather? USC. Want the midwest lifestyle with a manageable schedule? OSU/Michigan. Want the die hards? Bama. Want a massive network, decent weather, and a great recruiting state? Texas.

You could walk onto any of these campuses and facilities and have your jaw dropped.

That program has been drug through the mud for the last decade with drama, do they really want to take a chance on a guy with a checkered past? Obviously they will hire a guy who will win, but at some point they need to put their foot down and hire a Charlie Strong type guy to tune up the culture of apathy and poor choices.

Mullen might be looking to get out after peaking last season.

Maybe Stoops is ready to leave OU finally? He seems to be treading water there.

Tom Herman at Houston will be a stud coach one day but maybe too big of a jump.
