Who Will Replace Hoke at Michigan

If Dave Brandon was smart and actually looked at the production that Hoke is putting on the field he needs to fire him. I know we all hate Michigan but just like college football is better when we are winning, I think it is better when Michigan is winning.
Now Brandon, we all know, will not hire Les Miles. From what I've heard he has some kind of beef with him from back in their playing days. I think Jim Harbaugh is the obvious candidate for the job, but if Miles wants the job give it to him.

Michigan can suck a bag of dicks. I hope they never win a game again. They should hire Willingham to set them up for the long haul.

Can you explain? Why would he leave an NFL head coaching job at which he's been successful?

Yeah I've heard that. Bad enough he could be out?

Doubt it, but I don't know anything. Regardless, he seems intelligent enough to stay away from the tire fire in AA, and he would have went to Texas if the college ranks was something he really wanted to get back into IMO.

Word is that Barney is ready to step out of Fred's shadow and has definite interest in the job.

I hope Michigan burns. They are slowly becoming a regional team.

That's probably the top of the heap for a no BS realistic list. They might be better of having an interim coach for 2015.

Tell me why you think it's a tire fire at Michigan? I ask seriously, because -- and I may be missing something -- I think Michigan would be a great place to coach. Good tradition, good recruiting even with Awful Hoke, good academics, easy conference to win in (little competition, except Ohio State), lots of money for you (as coach) and the program (facilities), large fan base (of dumbasses, mostly, but that's mostly irrelevant if you are on the inside), media still considers you an elite program. I look at it like ND after Weis (except for the dumbass fans).

I don't think Harbaugh leaves if all is well in SF, but if not, I think he'd go to Michigan in a heartbeat, esp. after holding them up to top his already bloated salary, which the Mich Alumni would gladly pay.

Hoke has recruited pretty well, whoever gets in there next will have some pieces to work with.

And they will probably continue to recruit well. I'm constantly shocked at the amount of outstanding recruits that have interest in a team that's been so mediocre. They're always going to be able to compete for recruits, so even when it appears to be a tire fire as Steelhead stated it has to be an enticing job for many good coaches.
