Who needs soap operas and reality TV when we have college football recruiting and national signing day fast approaching?
Offering John Turner might come back to hurt us. I also hope Standifer shouldn't get an offer until later if at all.
Unless he turns out good. Not a ton of kids at 6'2", 205 out of high school running 4.5 40s.

If those were true he'd have better offers besides Ball State. Just saying. Word on the street is Deiter even ate him alive.
As far as numbers go Sampson is reporting that as of right now it looks like Cwynar will not be back next year.
Goodman, but no Cwynar? Hmmmmm...could this mean the staff knows something about a couple of potential DL commits later today?
Me no want either. Unfortunately I think it's reality though unless we get a thumbs up from Ron or Yuri.

Hey Whiskey I sure hope you are right. The speculation about Goodman, if true tells me they were hitting the panic button early. And if so, could translate to a Standifer offer too. Let's hope not with all the good news the last 2 days. Hell I'm hoping for Darby, Yuri, AAx2, Decker, and another ATH/WR/DB surprise.
I suppose the leadership he would bring to the table shouldn't be understated. A young, TALENTED receiving corps still needs to learn a thing or two.
That's a good point. Goodman would bring some veteran leadership to what might end up being a very young WR core. He's also big, fast, and strong. I think his inability to crack the starting line-up has been mostly mental.
If he does get a 5Y, I wouldn't be surprised to see him win the Corey Mays/ Jonas Gray award for break-out senior season.

not to change the subject, but should we miss on one of our remaining targets at wideout, it's been said on here for months that prosise has the ability to move to the offensive side of the ball. i know a lot of us like his ball hawking skills on defense, but this could be the thinking of the staff going after guys like standifer along with wright/darby. take two more DB's and move c.j. to wideout. just a thought whatever it's worth.
The problem i have with this theory is that he couldn't be Toma,TJ, So i am pretty sure he can't beat either one of them out know plus Daniels.
The problem with moving Prosise to WR is that he's the best FS commit we have right now. Baratti, Badger, and Shumate are all SSs. Unless we win the Shaq Thompson lottery, I think he stays on defense.
I don't think bringing back Goodman is a good idea, nor do I think him likely to start if and when he gets invited back. Was just throwing out possible justifications.

Decker is as gone as can be. Unless Myer clutches his heart within the next couple of weeks.
Gone, but I wouldn't say far gone. His dad came out and said the flip was not the best decision. I don't think we get him back, but I would not write him off just yet. Also thinking getting GK changes things a bit for OL targets.
