Haven't seen it yet but its been getting some buzz. Also Christian Bale has gotten great reviews for his performance. Still trying to see Black Swan, also wanna see that True Grit remake, and even though i think its gonna suck the Tron trailers look siiiiccckkkkkk

I heard it was awesome, but highly inaccurate--but i guess that's Hollywood for you. Also I heard that they don't have the WAR with Arturo Gatti. How can you exclude one of the greatest rivalries in the history of sports, not to mention the greatest fight in the past 20 years-if not then ever, from a movie about Micky Ward? You should still see it, it'll be one of the best movies of the year.

He is one of the worst over actors in history... I do not understand why he is thought of as a decent actor... Batman, Terminator, American P.... all grossly over-acted... laughably so.

I loved 3:10 to Yuma, American Psycho, and the Batman flicks. Yes, he overacts in Batman, but it's a freaking comic book. Enjoyable movies.

I can only really remember seeing him in Rescue Dawn. Somewhat interesting story, but his acting sucked. I have Terminator Salvation on the DVR, is his acting as weird and over the top? lol

He is so spot on in the fighter it's wierd. It's wierd he can pull of someone from lowell mass cause in real life he talks like the guy who cleaned chimneys in Mary Poppins

His acting is usually over the top... his facial expressions and his tone seem to be far too "expressed" more often than not... his tone in Batman almost singlehandedly killed what was otherwsie the only superhero movie ever made worth watching more than once... if that.

Hey! What about Iron man? I think Robert Downey Jr was a great Tony Stark and that movie single handedly resurrected his career. I agree with you about Christian Bale. This why he is a total douchebag..

The fighter looks good.

However, Christian Bale is a terrible Batman. The last two Batman's have been awful, and Dark Knight especially was one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Christian Bale may be a total douchelord, but I am w/ TerryT, I love the Batman movies (overacting encouraged a little when you are a superhero). I also can't wait to see The Fighter, and True Grit....Tron, mehhhh...

Watched the awarders screener last night and really loved it. Christian Bale deserves an Ocsar. He is amazing. Hell, he deserves it for just the last scene of the film, where he is talking about his brother. Truly moving.

And yes, they do not show "THE WAR" w/ Gatti but they do mention it in the ending credits. The story is more about the rise of Mickey Ward and how his brother finally cleans himself up. Again, great movie but I still think THE SOCIAL NETWORK is a better film. But what do I know I'm only a writer.
