Funny. That actualization came to me watching the Notre Dame & Miami game.

I still cheered, but was done with the hype after that game.

College football is weird.
Miami was so on fire that night, especially their defense, I don't think anyone in the country would have beaten them. But their offense is middling, and put them on a neutral field, or a day game like Pittsburgh last week, and the defense just doesn't have that energy. So much emotion it's hard to sustain week to week.
Makes you respect the professionalism that Saban has instilled at Alabama.

Miami wasn't 30 points better than ND, nor this much worse than Clemson. Auburn stomped UGA a few weeks ago and got beaten just as badly by them tonight. Sometimes it's just a matter of who's hot that day.

If our QB had a schitty game we lost. Simple as that. Some of that can be put on Long as well and the playcalling and personnel packages. The USC game showed who we can be just like the Miami game did too.
