I'm still totally expecting UGA or Bama to not make the playoff and for them to be put up against us in the Sugar or whatever freakin major non playoff bowl is held in the South.

Ya, a few of my UGA friends have mentioned that to me. I'd be okay playing UGA again, but I'd hate to play Bama. I'm hoping for ND to go to the Orange Bowl (because I still buy tickets every year since I went there in '12), but I don't think that's happening now with where UM and Clemson sit. All and all, I'm hoping to play Penn St.

God please no I don't want to be in the playoff. I just don't. We didn't earn our way there, and I don't think we'd have a prayer of winning the thing.

Just beat Navy, Stanford, and win a NY6 bowl.

Agree 100%. Finish regular season with wins, go to a good bowl and play/beat a decent opponent, finish off recruiting class, and go into off season with lots to look forward to in 2018.

No bowl game and no opponent is a sure thing and those that are close to a sure thing will be between Xmas and New Years anyhow. Surprised by the lack of balls here and sure hope that Kelly and his men are not of the same mentality. How many teams have laid an egg like we did this year under far less pressure and too lesser competition? If Long can learn from the same mistake 2X then we should be able to compete against anyone on any given day. Need to go rewatch the USC or NC State game and get your mojo back fellas.

I'd love a revenge game against UGA. So long as we don't have a game full of slow developing running plays, and crappy pass play calling. 2 TEs on the field all game...

While I've been (mostly) pleased with the season, I was suspicious of such an incredible 180 ... suspicions confirmed vs Miami.
Hockey-stick charts are rarely real or sustainable.
I want to beat a good, solid team in a good, solid bowl, and make good solid progress in the offseason.
I want the narrative to be: Hmmm... ND sure looked good in their bowl game - they might have beaten X if they'd have made the Playoffs after all.
