Haha, I saw that one. Not interested. They've also got a Sriracha beer that I'm not buying. And I love Sriracha.

Same, though I have had a few peps try it and tell me decent things (like worth trying)

I like adventurous stuff like that though (the beard thing may be a bridge too far even for me)... In pkt's old stomping ground there is a local brewery that has nothing but ambitious beers... most of them are solid and a few are rock stars... love stuff like that.

I'm with you man but I can't do donut beer or beard yeast beer. Well, maybe I should say I'm not paying for them. I suppose I would sample them if somebody cracked a bottle. Ugh, maybe not the beard yeast one.

My thought is, if it's just that particular brewer's take on beer I can get at the grocery store, then I'm staying home. I'm too old and too happily married to enjoy the bar scene just for the sake of the bar scene anymore. A brewery has to have something I can't get anywhere else to get me to go. Most breweries tend to fall in the first category imo.

I had an Alto Adige Schiava wine last night. I loved it. Must have more.

Starmont Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2013. Lots of lime and grapefruit with a touch of lime peel, lemon and peach. Very good.

Brewery Vivant Pumpkin Tart. I'm a sucker for all things pumpkin so I'm starting fall early. This is good.

SanTan KiloHop Ludicrous IPA (DIPA). They use 2.2 pounds (Kilo) of Citra hops per barrel and a some local honey. One of the best AZ beers that I have had. Damn this is good. Orange Marmalade, some grapefruit, peaches, honey, caramel malt. Just a very good to great DIPA.

Edit: rather sweet on the palate, some bitterness on the finish.

Uncle Bear's The Mutt's Nuts DIPA. A local brewery (Mesa, I think) that is just ok. Very bitter without any balancing sweetness.

I think I've only had maybe four or five different ones. Off the top of my head Pumking by Southern Tier BC, Ichabod Ale by New Holland, and probably this Pumpkin Tart by Brewery Vivant that I have now. But there's probably a ton of great ones that we don't get in my neck of the woods. What would you say are the best ones so I can try to locate them?

I like all kinds of pumpkin... Pumpking is good....Oyster Bays Pumpkin Ale is great... Shipyard have two that I love, Pumpkinhead is a pumpkin pie is a bottle but it tends to be lower rated bc it's more cinnamon than pumpkin their other is Smashed Pumpkin, good also...

For 'can find anywhere' pumpkins Sam Adams isn't anything special but certainly not bad and Postroads pumpkin is usually all over the place in the fall though I don't care for it much...

Left Coast Hop Juice. I saw today we have a few other Left Coast products. Is this a pretty good brewery generally speaking? Hop Juice is pretty damn good.
