We rocked Wazzou. Anyone else pumped to have blown out our second opponent of the season?

This creates big confidence and we didn't "play down." Weis's playcalls were nice. Hughes ROCKED! He ran hard and with more explosion than he had any other game this season. Of course the hoggies in the trenches made it happen.

I was super glad to see Jimmy ok on the sideline. I was also jacked to see Floyd and the guys arms looked GInormous. Seems to me his work ethic still remains by the look of those biceps. Tate was special. Toma also got some nice reps.

I hated seeing Dayne get hurt. I hope he's alright. Same with our big offensive guard, Trevor Robinson. May god speed their injuries.

And lastly, let's hope we get some great Texas recruits out of this in the future...

yeah, he has zero mobility, no arm strength (wet noodle) and i don't even know if he's accurate cuz he's usually handing the ball off.

Score is not even remotely indicative of how lopsided this game was. Very well could have been a lot more points on the board. Bad mistakes & dumb penalties in this game would have been the deal breaker against a more formidable opponent. Olsen needs to sit as he's just absolutely awful & obviously takes his frustrations over being such a shit player on the opposing team with dirty shenanigans.

Still not overly impressed with the red zone offense. Seems like we get bunched up inside the 20 & walk away with 3 on several occasions as opposed to 7. I cringe every time we get tackled on a big play inside the 20.

The only downside to this game, aside from injuries, is the punting. I pray that we don't get into a game where punt positioning is relied on.

The game was pretty sloppy IMO. Good things, but still sloppy, we were just a much better team, but they gotta grow up some still. Stupid penalties. 2nd team D needs alot of work as well

Humbled.......Glad we didn't play down. Not overly out of controll excited. We have some tough games coming up. This could have been the confidence BOOSTER game they needed going into the next few weeks. Cautiously optomistic.

The reason we let up is its obvious that Weis doesnt have confidence in Crist as a passer. He threw the nice pass to Goodman but on several occasions threw line drives into the ground 3 yards in front of receivers.

I like his scrambling ability, he looks like he has a big arm but accuracy is real suspect.

I hope Clausen returns next year because i think this kid might be an interception machine.

Of course they do! They are the second string of one of the worst defenses in college football. At least we know now that we are playing the best we got out there.

throw out this game....the same can be said about the 1st team defense.

its the defense as a whole that needs help; granted it looks the defense is making baby steps as the season progresses, but still isnt where we need it to be. against the pass is still nothing short of an embrassment.

I respectfully disagree on the let up scenario. Jimmy was still in at 33-7, and was probably playing for at least one more score until he had his injury aggravated. Crist came in, and we were in a decent position to score again until his injury. I think that game is 54-7 or 54-14 if Crist does not get hurt.

I found it amusing how Herbie was talking on GameDay about how we didn't beat this team as much as many were expecting. Who are these people? USC didn't beat this team by as much as we did.

Yes. 'Twas a thing of beauty. Poetry in motion. An adrenaline cocktail. A testosterone shotgun hit. A head AND body rush.

Crist, with authority, accurately hit an open Goodman in full stride. No defenders to fight for the ball or catch him. Tweaks to Dayne's patience, decision making and accuracy combined with adjustments by the receiving corps should make for a bright future.

Cut the man some slack and enjoy the show.
