Welcome to the future of ND football. The team seems to have grown over the bye, and I love seeing these young wolves coming into their own.

We'll be rocking next yr if we can get a couple more stud defensive guys. They're just kicking butt today.

Absolutlely outstanding tonight - I am absolutely amazed at the way we played and also the result - our guys kicked butt today.....how gooooddd is it the be IRISH today .........

I can only imagine how Prince and Kona will look after a few years of strength training. They are impressive.

Definitely looking up with these young fellas in here... They all did a tremendous job today against legitimate competition today. What a win. Enjoy it. Repeat it.

He was very good today. Glad to see him get in the game and make a difference. Glad to have him for the next 3 years.

It's one thing to blow up a RB like Prince did on his sack, but quite another to blow up a legit left tackle like he did on that QB hurry. I kept on telling my wife the entire game...damn, that kid is a freshman!

In fact, I kept on saying that throughout the game for plenty of kids...Prince, Kona, Collinsworth, Jackson, D. Smith, Rees. A beautiful thing to see!!!!

Yeah i was gonna Welcome Collinsworth as well! Man, I know he didn't do much but that one fumble entered him into ND football! Look forward to having him with us!

The night is young my friend...Imma be thrilled about this one until kick off '11! :) This is one for the ages!
The reporter (drew a blank at his name) himself said that he hadn't seen ND celebrate like that in all his commenting for NBC!

Shembo was great, I loved the fact that the announcers had to keep saying the word freshman on so many plays!

I think Shembo will be a Clay Matthews type player in the future that ND desperatly has needed. This guy is a star in the making. Amazing that he is only a freshman with an NFL physique at this stage.

I sure hope that Shembo will become a star alongside Manti and Carlo. But let's not forget the potential we supposedly saw in Kerry Neal and Brian Smith during their freshman years.

He has that burst off the edge that Darius Fleming is supposed to have, but he utilizes his full ability on every play.

3.5 sacks in limited action? Yeah, this kid makes me happy.

Te'o, Calabrese and now Shembo. All sophomores or younger. They make me happy.
