I just found out my son's K/1st grade football game has been moved from 9am to 4pm on Saturday. If I wasn't the coach, I'd consider not going. Doesn't my league realize I have to focus on beating Temple at 3:30?

LOL. I couldn't stop laughing at that bucket of sloths. My wife comes over to me and looks to see what I'm laughing about. She says, "You have serious issues" and goes to bed.

The little guys are cute. I wasn't going to sign him up this young but he said he wanted to play without any prompting from me, so we gave it a shot and then I got roped into coaching. I feel like I'm coaching the Little Giants everyday at practice.

Fan comes from fanatic, which might mean somewhat delusional, but it does not mean that ND fans need to be seen as ALL being insufferable idiots...like Alabama fans are. ESPECIALLY now.

In all fairness, any team that's on a roll like ours and accomplishes what we've accomplished the past few years would probably have a fan base just as over the top as ours is right now. You guys weren't any better in the 60's and 70's and neither were we during that time.

I hear this argument a lot on our IE forums, and I think it's a bit awkward.

Guys, we're not on the team. 99.999% of us have nothing to do with whether the team wins or loses. I understand saying it if you're trying to help someone not get their hopes up. But other than that, it really doesn't matter if a discussion is geared toward this week, next week, next season or next decade. It's just an internet discussion. And, having dreams is what makes life tolerable...

You need to shut up and focus on this week.

Well, since I didn't think that my telekinetical teletubby subwoofer thingamabobby powers would be needed, I took them to the dry cleaners. I should have taken them to the car wash for a buff and shine instead. They would have been back in time for the game.
