Yup. Oregon averaged 5.1 and 6.2 ypc in their games against UW. Texas is over 7 ypc right now. UW is going to need to score effectively every possession to win.

I think it’s perfectly reasonable to consider the possibility that to UW could get out to an early lead. Create some explosive plays of their own on offense that gets Michigan out of character.

Unless Sark flops with the shift to a tougher schedule, Texas will likely be a fixture in the top 10 going forward as their 2022-2024 classes are ALL top 5. They are ahead of schedule if anything. Essentially are going to be at OSU levels of talent next year and going forward, good for 3rd in the new SEC already. Plus, they’ve got gods gift to quarterbacking waiting in the wings.

Can’t help but think Freeman could match that level of recruiting if he had the built in advantages of UT. Up there with USC and LSU for easiest jobs to pull in elite classes.

Still 9 minutes left but the complete disrespect for UW everywhere is surprising. They beat Oregon twice this year who was definitely a top 5-7 team. Potentially About to beat #3. Penix and the WRs are similar to the OSU offenses the past few years, and theyre a very well coached and battle tested team that has been challenged and made plays all year when it mattered most. Michigan is good and may very well win, but the idea that its a foregone conclusion is nuts.

Penix just thrusted the Huskies into the National Championship game. His extending of plays and continually pounding the ball to the tight end has really helped this explosive offense reach it's potential. Can't fake that.
