Armstrong‘s breakout year seems to have been an anomaly as he is just not a good passer. To his credit, he looks like he’s the only NCST player who is acting like he wants to be there. They look like trash on both sides of the ball. The entire game hinges on Armstrong’s legs.

Not too much anymore. They looked way better than Arizona in the 2nd quarter. That Anderson td catch was sick on the edge. Fantastic play.

Completely phantom offensive PI call there. Should be 1st and goal at the 2, instead they settle for a FG.

Game is tied and Venables is punting on a 4th and 4 at midfield. Way too conservative for my taste. Arnold throws well on the run. Have a feeling there is going to be a lot of exciting moments watching Arnold at OU good and bad. Kid plays pretty fearlessly.

Have to consider the Arizona offense hasnt moved the ball at all since the first 6 minutes of the game. I hear what you’re sayin’, but why potentially give it away when they havent shown anything offensively in 40+ minutes? I agree with the call to pin them.

Time to see what Arnold really has as his team is quickly and surprisingly down 7 late in the 4th. Should be an interesting drive here. Arizona's receivers were impressive that last drive. Caught everything.

I do still agree. Sometimes the right call doesnt produce the expected outcome. I would pin an offense back in the 4th qtr of a tie game when they have less than 100 yds in the last 2+ qtrs of football versus going on 4th and 4 from my own side of the field 10 out of 10 times. 4th and 1 or inside the opponent 45 yd line and that changes, but nothing is ever a given, just have to determine what you deem the most likely outcome the highest percentage of times.

I hear you just felt for Jackson's confidence the right call is to go for it not punt. Not like it was 4th and long only 4 yds. Arizona just crushed Arnold and he fumbled. A lot of cool plays in this game.
