I wonder if Kelly & company try to snatch up any of their guys. They have a RB Poteat that could be Plan B if Huggins goes elsewhere.

We offered him before he committed to Pitt.

"All the pieces are in place" 1996 quote from Wanny about the Bears going to the Super Bowl. They finished 7-9 and it was his last season as head coach.

C'mon man. Did you have to mention he coached my bears and did nothing with them? lol

BestB: Next time you make a mistake on the title of a thread, just go to the Edit button in the bottom right hand corner of the post, and then click "Go Advanced" and then you can edit the title.

I'm sorry to see Wannstedt go. He recruited pretty well but had zero imagination. You always knew what his team was and if you had the horses you could restrict his offense. [sort of like what we did to Pitt this year]. I suppose that Pitt will be in transition now though, and more vulnerable to ND wins until we drop them from the schedule [as I think I heard someone say would happen in a small number of years]. So, maybe Wannstedt to Miami wouldn't be a bad idea at all. [even though we'd like him not to be recruiting well down in that neck-of-the-woods].

I don't know how to respond to that.

I'm looking for a little sandwhich action..

Anybody else getting tired of the unimaginative name calling? It seems to be the new norm.

The man did well considering the resources he had. He just doesn't have that "it" factor. So long stache..
