We now have about 50 non-coach football staffers now. They are the one's doing this work. So I guess the thanks does go the the coaches, specifically Freeman, who argued and got the additional funding for the gigantic staffs that are now the needed status quo in today's game.

Gonna need to start dropping bags. ISD has said that there have been plenty of good recruits over the last 2-3 classes that were good fits for ND but got a bag and went elsewhere. Mike Frank said that if ND gives them a bag, they’d be fine at ND and wouldn’t be locker room cancers. I agree with him.

ND did land Cam Williams (a borderline 5* player) and Micah Gilbert (another highly touted recruit) in the '23 class. Really, ND had only one bad year in the way you are referring.

Moving forward, with a continued improvement in NDs NIL game, and the fact that the on-field product has shown to consistently improve season after season, I expect ND to win a few more of those Top 100/150 battles than they've lost in the past. It's really just a small handful of recruits that are keeping ND from Top 7/8 in the recruiting rankings.

Thomas Davis was at Miami with his 7v7 team as they were at the Battle Miami.

Davis seems locked in and is visiting here this weekend. He's also said he wants to go on some other visits with his cousins (who are also considering ND)... so yeah. Read into that what you will.
