..I know how you feel. I get that way too...alot of guys who actually played the game get that...old habits die hard...been 20+ years, and I sure as hell didn't play for ND...yet there they are "bats" every time ND has a big game...conditioned response I guess...

All I can tell you is...after Michigan State last year, Michigan this year...you can't really be scared of a more gut wrenching loss. As well, team appears to be clicking now...I think they are ready for SC...

I think they win if they take care of the ball...they win convincingly if they turn SC over a couple times...way possible. Think Michigan state...Think Qb hurries...not even sacks really.

I bet we see USC run some of that unbalanced shtuff Michigan state ran on us...we'll also see fades at GG... If we play good fundamental ball on D...I think we win.

This is the same feeling I had back in my playing days with a big game coming up. Especially with it starting at night Im going to prolly do as I did in my playing days, think about it, over think, then worry but I understand why theyre having a night game. I think we will be alright then I hear about barkley and remember how last year we didnt face him thats my big worry. Bjut youre right we play great D we should be ok, and if have no turnovers we'll be fine as well. Im just tired of waiting I want it to get here and God will it celebrate with you guys on here (because I have no fellow Irish fans here to celebrate with other than some nice older gentlemen who drink coffee where I work at in the mornings)

Either way...the cool part of the bats is, you still have the juices bud, and look at it this way, those bats make it exciting. Some of the excitement...no concussions, broken bones, torn **** you never knew you had...I'm good with it.

There's just something about USC v ND @ South Bend that make the theatrics incredible! I can't wait to see the place rocking on Saturday night. It's going to be a great game! Good luck!
