What you are referring to, I think, is that we don't take JUCO transfers. We've had a Dayton transfer and a Northwestern transfer just over the last couple of years.

Ok. I understand. Although there may be a clear difference between a Dayton and Northwestern transfer versus a USC transfer. Granted I guess GPA and transferring credits would be the only problems.

They can't transfer to any Pac 10 schools so they won't be going to UCLA. But I think UCLA will garner a significant advantage in recruiting the LA market.

I believe the attitude of "we don't need there transfers" is one of many reasons we have not been to compete with many teams. If a player qualifies academically and has interest than why not. We could definitely use another Safety.

I'd prefer the "Program Building" mentality that Kelly brought to the school again. We want kids that buy in; kids that will help others develop, not looking for TV exposure and an NFL deal.

i haven't looked at USC rosters but more than likely ND recruited alot of there players so why would we want a kid who it "didn't work out for" at USC, to be on this roster, just my opinion
