The same reason Drew Pyne had a good game I would imagine. They sold out to stop the run against us because they knew we wouldn't beat them without running it.

ESPN Committee can basically handle a USC loss with Williams injury however they want. If they want USC in, excuse the loss because of injury. If they don’t, use the loss against them.

Idk. A 2 loss non-conference champion from the PAC12 is a hard one to justify.

Williams being limited is clearly helping Utah but still disappointed in ND's defensive performance last week. Very poor tackling and Golden looked over matched. Depth at CB played a part but the D-line and LBs really left a lot to be desired.
